One of my best friends gave my 2 year old foster-son this book for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. When we first got it, he played with it everyday. I put it up and use it in church and at restaurants all the time. He loves to take the animals out and make their noises and play with them.

Great Fun for Toddlers Aug 28, 2009

Melissa and Doug make great, sturdy toys. My grandkids love these puzzles and spend lots of time sorting and getting the pieces in the right spot. My older granddaughter (5) goes adult puzzles but the 2 year old felt left out. These puzzles are the perfect solution for the little ones.
I highly recommend this puzzle and well as the others they have out.

I ordered this product to occupy my daughter at restaurants/while travelling, per the previous reviews. I have been totally satisfied with all other Melissa and Doug toys.
As soon as I took it out of the package, I realized that this puzzle will not leave my house. Because it's made of wood, it's sturdy, but very HEAVY. Plus when my daughter turns the pages, some of the pieces fall out. I'm afraid we're going to lose some of the pieces if we take the puzzle out. My daughter likes this product, but I still need to find another puzzle for travel. Maybe one of those foam puzzle books.

I got this puzzle book for my son when he turned 2 years old, and he still loves it a year and a half later! You can always count on Melissa and Doug products for great quality and ideas, and this book is no exception. We take it with us in the car for road trips, as the magnetic puzzle pieces stay wonderfully in the book when the pages are turned. Also great for animal sorting, alphabetizing, etc. I've now given it as a gift to my sister and to my best friend!

Great Puzzle Book for Toddlers Jan 02, 2011

Very pleased with this puzzle book. Very sturdy and holds my 1 1/2 year old's attention. Puzzle pieces are easy to remove and replace. We've only had the puzzle for a few weeks, but it seems like it will be able to take quite a bit of abuse. Lots of fun colors.
