My Barely 3 year Old Loves These! Feb 24, 2012
By bigwaxlips My son, who just turned 3, received these for his birthday and at first I was skeptical. I thought he would get a little frustrated with not having the shape fit how he would like it to. I was completely wrong! He plays with these everyday for at least an hour and he loves mixing and matching the colors. He also has started to discover that if he is all out of a piece, he can "make" that same shape by using two triangles, etc. It's kind of amazing to watch! I do wish that they had come with some sort of shallow box to keep the pieces stored, but we are just using a pencil box. Oh! And the puzzles fit perfectly in our puzzle wire rack, so no problem there! I do think that they could/should lower the age on these though. If my 3 year old can do all of things he is going with them, I am sure a 24 month old could have fun as well! GET THESE!!
Good for Younger than 2.5yo Dec 26, 2011
By R. Jefferson My daughter played with this when she was 32 months. It was fun and very easy. She likes everything to match so she put the puzzles together using one color and wouldn't go for mixing the colors in the puzzle. She played it with her 5yo and 3.5 yo nephews who used different colors which I thought was a creative idea. A very creative child may even organize the colors. They all had lots of fun and played with it multiple times. I would personally recommend it for someone between 18-24mos if you want the child to have more of a challenge learning spatial arrangement. There are small pieces so it could be a choking hazard if they put it in their mouth at that young age.

No Cover? Jan 05, 2012
By CP I don't understand how these puzzles can come without any kind of cover to them. Once they are out of the original packaging it's almost impossible to keep all the pieces in one place. We have 2 children, one will be 3 in a few months and the other just turned one. The almost 3 year old loves to turn the box upside down and dump all the pieces out. He does like to put the puzzles together but not nearly as much as he likes spreading them all over the room, which is a concern for us since our 1 year old naturally wants to put every little thing in his mouth. I just don't see how a game with this many pieces would not come with a cover or something to hold all the games together. Not sure how they expect us to store this anywhere. It seems like only a matter of time before several puzzle pieces are lost.
