This is MUCH better than the Medela sleep bra because the elastic band is thicker and therefore grants more support. I don't know if you should size up, what I felt was too small was the elastic band, I'm a 36 and bought L which should fit but it felt snug and suited to a 34 size I had trouble pulling the bra over my head to wear it. Next the shape is weird the shoulder straps are too wide there's way too much unnecessary material under the arm and on the top of the chest. Otherwise the cups seem true to size. Material is almost sheer, very thin cotton, and nursing pads will show up clearly under the bra.

This is the most comfortable nursing bra that I purchased (I now own about 6 of them). I wear it at night and during the day because I love it so much. They are showing some wear and tear after 9 months, but they have done their job well.

Overall this is a good bra. It has excellent support- much better support than the Medela bra. Be sure to read the suggested sizing chart- I was a Large for this bra, but a medium for the Medela bra. My only complaint was the inner stitching under each arm had a bit too much extra fabric and rubbed against my skin uncomfortably.

I would recommend getting this a size larger than you think you need. It runs small and shrinks in the wash. It's not all that comfortable either. I instead would buy BirthandBaby Sleep Bra.

Runs very small. Item was shipped quickly and in brand new packaging, but I couldn't use it.
