My 10 month old pulls on the toy hangers until the whole thing comes off. Maybe velcro wasn't such a good idea for such a strong little baby boy. For the most part, the product keeps him from eating paint chips...for a little while.

I kept going back and forth on whether I wanted this product or not but I'm glad I got it. My son is now 7mos old and has been teething since 2.5 months. He of course bites everything he can get his hands on and into his mouth. He sits up in his bed and bites on the toys. I like how strong the velcro is b/c my son is very strong where it wraps around the rail. The fabric is thick too so it won't leave teeth marks or anything on the furniture. I almost which the velcro pieces to hand toys on were hand out of something else that would lock the toys in b/c my son is a whiz at ripping toys loose from velcro. But overall I am happy with this purchase!

The cover fit almost perfectly the length of my baby's crib. The Velcro closure keeps it securely in place. My son still teeths on it, but now I don't have to worry about him ruining his crib...just what I wanted though a tad bit expensive....

I purchased this organic teething rail cover when I purchased a new DaVinci crib, because I heard the finish comes off easily. I decided to take a proactive approach because not only did I want to convert the crib down the road but I also didn't want my son ingesting any of the finish. This fit on the front rail of the "Charleston" convertable DaVinic crib because it doesn't have a large front rail. I also orded the XL version of this product for the back rail and the side covers, too. I really like this cover... but I would recommend line drying, I put it in the dryer on low and it still shrank about two inches, leaving a small gap on either side. Also some other reviews said that the velco is not very strong, I agree but I also took a proactive approach here and ordered some diaper pins to secure the cover with the diaper pins on the outside of the crib (so my son couldn't get to them.) All in all, it is a great solution if you are concerned about your baby's health (possibly ingesting paint chips or wood pieces) and teeth marks and/or destroying the finish on a convertable crib.

I am giving this product a 1 star. Actually I am giving this company a 1 star. I ordered this crib teether guard because I wanted something that's not too big for the crib (I bought the Trend-Lab crib rail teether cover and found it to have too much depth and covers half of the crib). When the shipment came, I was very excited to start using it. However, after opening it, I realized Amazon shipped me the incorrect product. They sent the Leachco teether crib rail cover XL. I called Amazon right away and they told me to ship it back. However, since the product is from a 3rd party vendor, Amazon couldn't do an exchange for the correct product. I had to order the item again separately. I did just that 2 days ago, and when the package arrived today and I opened it, yup, you guess it right. They shipped me the crib rail cover in XL AGAIN!!!!
It's absolutely frustrating and ridiculous. Now I will have to send back the incorrect item, for the second time. I am not sure if they just don't have this product in stock and they keep on trying to send me something else or there is an internal shipping error. Anyway, I am not ordering anything else from this company again.
