This seems to be a very well made blanket. I've only washed it once so far, but it seems thick and sturdy while still being very soft. I plan to order several more in different colors.

These are the best receiving blankets we had. They are actually a true square (several brands aren't) and they are big enough to swaddle a newborn. And the biased edge provides extra durability. I got two with our first daughter 5 years ago. They were still good enough to use with our second but I wanted more.

I purchased this after realizing my baby likes to be swaddled in two layers of flannel. I had hoped that the addition of this blanke to the rotation would help space out the laundry. Unfortunately, the flannel is thinner than I expected and it doesn't keep my baby warm enough.
That said, it does survive the wash very well and is a good quality blanket. I used it as a tummy time mat for the space of a week before I unexpectedly received an abundance of higher quality blankets from friends.

Haven't used it repeatedly yet, but on first washing I love it for what it is - lightweight flannel blanket. Compared to C-----'s receiving blankets, it's larger, made better, shrunk less, pilled up less, and is quite a bit softer. Would purchase again and as gifts in the future!
