My son (26 months) has had his Moose for 3 months, and we have had no complaints. The charge lasts several days before I set it on the dock for a few hours. I turn it on and set it in his crib and he will sit there and switch through the light colors, he likes to settle down on the red for some reason! There are different settings, one smoothly transitions through all the colors on its own, it will also turn off after 30 mins, or continue clicking the bottom button and the Moose will stay on for the entire night, which i plan to use in the future if he needs to get out of bed for the potty, it's a nightlight he can carry. Never gets hot at all, or even warm, only a few metal peices on the bottom and otherwise it's a nice soft but firm plastic that is very durable. Such a great replacement for having one that is an open socket and plugged in all night with a lightbulb that is a fire hazard. very pleased!
Will buy again for baby #2.

My kid loves this nightlamp. It is made of durable plastic and the timer for 30 minutes is a good feature. There are multiple light setting options - multiple colors fading, or single color. On the whole its perfect for our need - keeps the light on until the child falls asleep and is rechargeable. Definitely a good buy!

My son received this nightlight as a gift last year. We LOVE it! My son loves it so much that Moose even has to go on vacation with us. The lighting is soft and perfect for his room. I highly recommend this product.

This product has helped my child overcome some of his fear of sleeping alone in the dark. It is nice that there are multiple colors to choose from or the moose can cycle through the colors. It has a convenient charging stand and the battery lasts a week or more without recharging. We bring it with us everywhere now and it helps to comfort my child at nap time and bed time.

We love this product so much. I bought the moose for our four-year-old, and the hippo for our two-year-old. I think the moose is a little cuter! Both have been great. We've only had them for about 2 weeks -- so I can't speak to the durability issues some other reviewers commented on -- but the product has quickly become part of the bedtime ritual for both our boys, and they both love them. Easy to use, very safe, a great comfort to the kids. We leave it on all night, and I have found it won't make it through two full nights without a re-charge. Easy to charge, though, so no complaints. Bottom line: we love it, I think the kids will use it for a long time, and I'l be buying it for friends.
If the company reads this: two things that would make this even more amazingly awesome are
* A built-in sound machine with white noise
* A timer where you could set the color to change at a certain time, like a toddler wake-up clock. We have another clock to let our kids know it's 6 a.m. and OK to come in our room. It would be great if this one could be blue from 8-6, then turn yellow at 6 or something.
Just a sugestion so we only had one amazing bedtime tool, instead of 3!
