Well, i must say i am disapointed. The package arrived in ONLY 1 box. It was not double boxed and the delivery guy didn't even take it off the truck as he thought for sure it would have major damage due to the box being mangled. Shockingly......., it had no major damage. I accepted the package, as i had to. However, there were multiple manufactere defects. There were a couple places where there were screws showing as it was not screwed together tightly at that point. In addition, there were about 5 places where i could see the dowels. There were several...maybe 6 joints where the seams of the wood were not flush. It had not been seated close enough together and then they screwed it together like that. I dont think there is any way to fix this unless you take the whole dressser apart. The worst part is that all 5 of the 6 drawers were misaligned...2 of them very badly. My guess is the olny way to fix this is to take the drawers out and unscrew the hardware and fix the problem. This could take quite a bit of time and i am not confident i would be successful. I am going to contact the company and see what they suggest for all these problems. I bought this dresser becuase it was already made...i shouldnt have to deal with a bunch of other defects and quality control issues. If these problems didnt exist, this would be a nice dresser. I am surprised this dresser made it out the factory door as it i obvious that the drawers are Badly misaligned.
