This crub was fairly easy to assemble. My husband put it together in an evening. You will want to assemble it in your child's room since it will not fit through the doorway assembled. It is very sturdy and holds up well to my little guy's jumping. I like the rounded front edge as it makes it comfortable to lean over to lay him in bed. There are a few scratches that have showed up in the 8 months we have been using the crib but they are minor and do not bother me at all. It is a bit of a cumbersome process to change the height of the crib mattress. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of the crib.

We purchased this crib for our baby as our 2 yr old is still using his crib as a toddler bed. We definitely wanted another convertible crib. We haven't yet set this crib up because we're still in the process of getting the nursery ready but we opened the box to take a quick look to make sure all the parts and pieces were in tact (which they were) but I was very surprised by the color of the wood. I know it states that it is a "honey oak" in the description but the actual color is MUCH lighter than the picture. It's not a bad color by any means, just not what I was expecting. I am so glad I pulled it out to take a look at it before dresser shopping so I can match something up to it.
