This is a great body support for an infant. However, after about 3 months your baby will out grow it.If your baby was born about or over 10 lbs, don't bother cause you won't use it for long.

fabric is nice and soft but it does not give as much support as the Snuzzler Complete Head And Body Support For Any Seat - Pink Trim my recommendation is to go with the SNUZZLER

I got this body support about a week ago and I love it! Not only that, my daughter loves it too. My favorite thing is that the strap covers are small enough for her straps. All the others that I saw were too big for her straps! It keeps her very cozy and she cuddles right into her seat now. Makes the rides in the car much more pleasant when they are comfortable. She is 2 months old now and I wish they had had it when she was born because I definately would have bought it. It is also reversible which I love but I have kept it on the soft side so far. I definately recommend it!

I went to Babies R Us to try out different head supports before this baby gets here and this one was much better than the other ones. I put my 16 month old in the seat to tighten the harness straps and everything. I put the snuzzler in first and it didn't fit quite right in the Snugride 32 we're getting. I tested out the regular "rainbow" ones and I just hated those with my other 2 girls. I tried out this one and I loved it. There's not any more fabric behind the baby than there is with the rainbow supports, unlike the snuzzler I tried out. I was able to get the harness tightened to my liking with this one, again unlike the snuzzler. The only thing I like about the snuzzler is that it comes up higher on the baby's head, but I would rather have my harness straps tightened properly. The higher support might make the new baby mad anyway when she get's older and can't see as well with it on her head.
The JJ Cole one is better by far!

I bought this car seat insert because my little girl was too small for her car seat (she came home at 5lbs 7 oz). The first few times I used this, she was fine- her head was snugly supported in the headrest. A week later, she began lifting her head out of the support and slumping forward (at this point she was approximately 6 lbs). I tried many times to adjust the headrest and the entire support system but I was unsuccessful so I took it out and put the original headrest from the car seat back inside.
