Soft but wrinkles in the wash Jan 26, 2012

These are really great. A little pricey. I found some similar (better) flannel wipes on etsy. They are soft but after I dry them in the dryer they wrinkle and do not get flat so they are difficult to fold.

I use these with homemade diaper spray in place of disposable baby wipes. They are awesome! They have also proved infinitely valuable for quick clean-ups on the go and as an alternative for scratchy (and environmentally unfriendly) paper facial tissue when baby has a cold. I have washed them again and again and the stitching is still intact and the fabric is showing no signs of pilling or wear. Fabulous wipes! (I recommend buying at least two packs if you are using them for diaper changes.)

We bought these as face wipes for my two year old. They work great, are very soft, and wash up nicely. I would recommend that you dry them on a low permanent press cycle or sun dry them (which works great for removing stains also). We wash them on a sanitary cycle with Nellie's Laundry Powder and have had no problems with them getting rough.
