4Fancy Stroller/Pram  Aug 16, 2008
By aliceJW "AJW"
I really like this stroller/pram, but is it worth the price? Here are the pros and cons I have found.

Pros
- rides smoothly
- is 3 things in one - stroller, pram, and car seat carrier
- gives the option of having the child face me or face the way we are going
- nice big basket below to carry stuff

Cons
- very expensive
- to convert from stroller to pram is not easy
- does not come with a sun shade or mosquito shade, the pram has a cover, but it's very thick, it seems more a winter accessory
- stroller bar is not very easy to put on and take off
- baby gets hot riding in pram and stroller

Overall, I like it enough to not return it, but I am kind of disappointed that I didn't do more research before settling on this one because I think there are other stroller/prams out there that have the features I would want - closable air vents in pram, a better sun shade, and easier to convert from stroller to pram.

3Very Disappointing!  Aug 17, 2009
By Sofia's Mommy
We purchased this stroller mainly because we wanted to be able to see our 6 month old daughter and were not willing to spend $1000 on a bugaboo. Here is what we discovered.

PROS:
1. very sturdy
2. easy to handle
3. comfortable inside due to padding

CONS:
1. bulky and heavy (and I have an SUV and it takes up almost the whole trunk). If you travel, there is zero room for your luggage.
2. not easy to fold and unfold, the latch gest stuck, too many steps to fold and unfold as you have to turn the handle inside, make sure the footrest is straight otherwise it stick out and you can see it in the rear vew mirror
3. wobbly when facing towards you
4. handle bar does not stay put and creates a potential hazard for the baby
5. buckle- if you are considering this stroller- hear me out on this one. it takes two people and a LOT of patience to buckle your baby in this stroller. THis is a 3 part process, during which you or the baby will be screaming from frustration (sometimes both at the same time). When you try to do the side buckles, the middle will come off and vice versa.
6. CANOPY is way too small. If you live in a sunny state (like CA), this is a no-go. As you recline the seat to put the baby to sleep, the canopy reclines with it leaving you baby fully exposed to the sun. THere is no blanket large enough to cover it, and frankly you shouldn't have to need one after spending $600 on a stroller!
7. no accessories- no cupholder or anything!

Overall, we are VERY disappointed with this stroller. I have spend unspeakable amount of time researching the strollers, and am now considering Maclaren Grand Tour- excellent reviews, easy fold, light and reversible. And it has a HUGE canopy. Yes, it is $1000, but I am tired of fighting with Icoo for two months!

3Good Stroller for the money  Feb 21, 2009
By New Papa
Quality!! We bought the I'coo Targo (Mocha)for our daughter. She is due in April and I just couldn't wait to get everything ready. The stroller was easy to set up and is effortless to move around. I love the features of the Targo. My wife is petite and loves the height adjustment of the seat and pram, as well as the handle adjustment. I love the ease at wich you can change the seat with the infant carrier attachment. It does take a bit of time to convert from the pram to the seat, but I can't imagine changing that too often. The stroller is QUIET!

We bought the Chicco Key Fit 30 infant carrier and it fit the attachment just fine. We also bought the Prince Lionheart Click N Go Stroller Accessory System and it fit like a charm as well. We cant find anything about this stoller that we dont like...except the lack of accessories for it.

We reasearched the Targo (as well as 20 other high end models)and do not regret buying it above all the other models. We completely reccomend this to anyone that wants a solid, well made, functional stroller that is well worth the money.

8 MONTH UPDATE:

OK...so we have used this stroller for 8 months now and have really had the chance to use it.

Yes...it still is a great stoller. HOWEVER!! It is not easy for my wife to collapse and expand. It does take up a lot of trunk room. One of the wheels squeaks and we cant figure out how to fix it. The canopy should be expand more to cover from the sun. There is no practical reason why it should not. The Bassinett option is nice if you child likes it. If not, then it is useless. So, its a gamble. Our baby hated it and would not tolerate it for longer than 5 minutes. Other babies seem to love it.

No accessories for a $500+ stroller sucks.

PROS: This stroller still is great and very adaptable. It is solid and quiet. Very agile and I can navigate through tight shopping aisles. The mateirals are top quality and easy to clean. Very breathable for our baby. Very adjustable to me and my wife.

Best of all: Our baby loves the stroller! So, I still recommend it, just not wowed anymore. Dropped 2 stars on my rating.

3i'coo houndstooth stroller  Mar 10, 2010
By Jason Benedict
CONS
Canopy is WAY too short, especially when you recline...sun shines directly in baby's eyes
Canopy is solid...you cannot see the baby, needs a window
Universal adapter....not quite. I have Graco Snugride 32 and it does not fit. The adapter is unusable.
Rather large when folded up
No cup holders
No manufacturer accessories
Cargo basket is very shallow....I do not feel that my items placed there are secure in any way.
Difficult to convert from pram to targo...should be able to exchange one for the other without having to disassemble and then re-assemble using the same parts
When in pram set up, cannot adjust to a sitting position
When in targo set up and trying to recline, child's feet are higher than their head

PROS
SMOOTH ride
Fabrics are well made and clean easily
Adjustable handles
Adjustable height
Boot & rain hood

4Happy Owner of I'coo Targo  Feb 23, 2010
By KC
I have been using this stroller for 9 months and so far, very satisfied with my purchase. I had been researching for 2 months for a stroller which was lightweight and was capable to use with my Graco infant seat, and this stroller had it. After using this stroller for 9 months, this is what I found:

Pros
- Smooth ride and easy to steer even with one hand.
- Its lightweight which is good when putting it in and taking it out of the car.
- Seat is well padded and can recline into a flat position for my baby to sleep in.
- Its quite compact, can bring it into restaurants without taking a lot of space.
- Easy access to the basket.

Cons
- Canopy doesn't extend enough to provide good shade coverage.
- Universal adaptor for infant car seat doesn't seem to be too secure (its just a buckle strap that keeps the car seat in place with the stroller) even though I've had no problems with it so far.
- Its hard to snap the seat into the stroller frame at times, need to try a few times as the seat fabric gets in the way.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this stroller and would recommend buying this stroller if you don't want to spend big bucks on a higher-end stroller.
