Love this! And love Halo's customer serivce! Mar 31, 2011
By J. Gore I recently bought this for my 6 month old daughter. She is tall for her age and totally outgrew the cheaper Carter sleep sacks that max out at 9 months. She is 16 pounds and 28 inches long. This is a very cozy product. I love that it keeps her warm throughout the night, has smaller arm holes, and is super long. I bought her a large based on other reviews and I'm very glad I did. The length is a bit excessive right now, but it doesn't get in the way of anything. This is something that fits great now and will fit great 6 months from now. The sleep sack is also wide enough that she can stretch out more and has even started sleeping on her side as a result. She must be much warmer and much more comfortable, because I swear this sleep sack added 2+ more hours of sleep to her night.
The only CON for me, and it's a big one, is that the zipper is designed to unzip from the bottom to make diaper changes easier. I don't change diapers at night, so this wasn't a big deal for me. It has, however, become a total pain because she can actuall split open the zipper once it's zipped. Because the zipper starts at the neck of the sleep sack, if she pulls hard enough she can totall split the zipper and unzip the sleep sack completely. I can't believe the zipper isn't A) stronger and/or B) contained behind a little flap or something to keep babies hands from grabbing onto it and ripping it apart. I'm surprised I'm the first to comment on this, but it has become a real pain. I'm going to try to sew a small flap over it, similar to the little tongue with a snap that you see on most blanket sleepers to keep the zipper from pointing upward and poking your baby all night.
Like the warmth and the size of this product but really hate that zipper!
UPDATED 4/7/11 Thought everyone should know I was contacted by Halo immediately following the posting of this review with an offer to return the sleep sack (postage paid) and replace it with another one. After messing around quite a bit with the sleep sack, I realized my zipper issue was user error. I wasn't getting the zipper fully seated before zipping, which caused my daughter to be able to rip out of it like the Hulk :-) Since I've been paying closer attention I haven't had the problem. I just love this sleep sack and am so impressed with Halo for their proactive, amazing customer service. This is a compay I'll be buying from in the future!!!!

Cute, Snuggly, No loose blankets in the crib Dec 06, 2009
By R. Smith I got this when our little girl started sleeping in the crib and outgrew her swaddlers. It's the perfect solution if you are concerned about having loose blankets in the crib. She is about 8 months now and we bought it when she was 5 months, it still fits well, allows her room to roll around but doesn't get tangled around her and keeps her nice and warm. Definitely recommend this product and will buy it again.

Halo Sleepsack is baby's favorite Aug 22, 2011

My son loves his Halo Sleepsack. He's been using the large size since I purchased it over a year ago and it still fits. I'm just about to order another one for him to take with him to daycare. I don't know what it is about the Sleepsack, but immediately we put him in it, he calms down and starts getting ready to sleep. He also likes holding it and basically rubbing his face against it for comfort. It's a great way to keep children bundled up but not too hot. We put him in his sleepsack all year long and he doesn't overheat. We only vary the thickness of his pajamas based on the season, but the sleepsack always goes on, for both naptime and regular bedtime. Plus it's machine washable and very durable too. It's a great buy and I'm planning to get one for each of my three friends who are currently expecting.

Very good design Jan 17, 2011
By N. Wilson This is very well designed. My 5 1/2 month old daughter is now in 9 month size clothing and I've had a hard time finding sleep sacks in the store that are larger. This keeps her nice and warm at night.
