Love 'em Apr 17, 2011
By Angela I absolutely love these diapers! I have had zero problems with them. They are super easy to use and very versatile. I use the 100% organic cotton liners that GroVia sells, but I also use prefolds in them as well! Plus they sell disposable liners that I use sometimes when my DD is with someone that isn't familiar with cloth diapers. Totally awesome! My daughter is big for her age, 5 1/2 months and 20 lbs., and I have no problem with the fit. I have even had to set them on the last snap, not the biggest size, and they fit her fine. Washing them is super easy. I've had zero problems with the velcro. It is super sticky! I would suggest these to anyone that is wanting to give cloth a try but isn't sure. Not a bad price and the 100% organic cotton liners are prefect for babies with sensitive skin. Love 'em!

Great hybrid diaper! Feb 24, 2011
By Momof2 I bought this solely for the cute print, it has turned out to be my favorite night time diaper! Never leaks, Velcro is strong and doesn't make diaper chains in the wash. I love how breathable the fabric is, helps DS not to get rashes! I have already purchased more!

Good but not great Jan 22, 2012
By M. Lang At first I was really pleased with these diapers but after three months the kiwi shells had worn out the elastic around the legs. The mandarin seemed to hold up fine however. I ordered more of the kiwi shells and again the elastic is worn out. It is now been 8 months and the mandarin are in fair condition. The elastic isn't completely worn out but it has lost some of the stretch. I air dry them so they are not getting worn out by the heat of the dryer.
I ordered the shells with velcro and if I were to order this set again I would order the ones with snaps. The velcro can stick to soft clothing very easily. My biggest problem is when my boys are in their fleece-like pajamas. The fuzzy material attracts the velcro very easily and it makes the diaper to come undone. I keep having to unzip them and reattach the diaper. Very annoying.
The diaper inserts have elastic in them as well which have held up just fine and those do go in the dryer. You need to run them through the dryer twice to get all of the moisture out. They feel like they are dry after the first run but they do contain some water. Considering how thick the fabric is it isn't that much of a surprise. If you don't dry them twice then it is easy for the diapers to leak when your baby pees in it. The "wings" that house the elastic do not hold up very well. They are made of a different material than the main part of the diaper. Half of my diapers are shredded through in this area. Maybe it is the acid in the poop that causes this to happen. Not sure.
One of the reasons I chose this brand of diaper was because I thought it was a product that was made in USA. So wrong and so disappointed. The tags say made in China. Considering this I would expect the cost of the diapers to be less.
Wonderful! May 25, 2012
By Emma's Mom Love the print on this shell! Super cute! The Velcro tabs are nice and sturdy, difficult for my toddler to remove (she could just pull disposables open right after I'd put one on her). The care instructions are really simple. It is nice that you can wash the shells with your regular laundry too, I have learned. They can also be used as a swim diaper! Wonderful product, glad I switched to cloth diapers and Grovia was a good choice for us. I like the reusability of the shells, as long as they remain clean. Not as much "bulk" to lug around in the diaper bag (though you will need a bag to keep dirty shells and pads in until you are home), just a few shells, and all the soaker pads you need. Good to go! Also wonderful for my daughters sensitive skin.
Hasn't Lasted 20 Months May 10, 2012
By Ashley M. Wagner The concept is interesting - the insert snaps in instead of being stuffed into a shell - but after 20 months of using these, Fuzzibunz, and prefolds with covers, these are the only ones that will certainly NOT last for child two. In fact, husband is begging me to just throw them away, but I am cheap. ;)
The snap GroVia are much better, but the insert still bunches up far too much and the leg elastic is wearing out.
I thought about replacing our two hook and loop shells with snap shells, but for $17 JUST for the shell, I'd rather buy Fuzzibunz, which I know will last.
