My wife and I actually prefer to use glass bottles, but the daycare keeps breaking them. As an alternative we researched these Green to Grow bottles and were very impressed. So far we have been using them for about a month and we love them. They are durable, do not have that plastic smell, and are just the right width for our little one to grab. We particularly like the design of the nipples. Our little one needs a high flow nipple, which we previously bought from Evenflo. Those nipples would cause her to choke every once in a while, but these do not. We think its the scoring on the inside of the nipple which (we think) allows a high flow while our little one is drinking, but slows the flow down when she releases the pressure. The caps on these bottles are great as well. there is a recessed portion that fits over the nipple. This allows you to shake the bottle as vigorously as you want without the mild running down the sides of the bottle (not so with the Evenflo glass bottle caps). This is a real plus if you are using dry formula. All in all an excellent product that we highly recommend!

Like another reviewer, I usually use glass bottles, but needed plastic ones for a family vacation. After much research, I decided on these, not just because they are BPA free, but also since they do not contain phthalates or PVC.
One of things I like most about the bottles are the shape: my 6 month old can easily hold them. I also love that they hold 5 or 10 ounces, so I can mix the formula right in the bottle and know that the baby is getting a true 4 or 8 ounce bottle.
The nipples I have are clearly marked - stage 1 - 3, and I didn't find a need for the plastic cap inserts because the nipple caps do not allow for spillage. BPA
The only reason I didn't give this product five stars is because I think the price is a bit high for a few bottles (I'm used to paying about two bucks for a glass Evenflo bottle!), and because all my bottles arrived with two rings around them that won't come off.

These bottles ARE leakproof, which is why we bought them. They are also sturdy and shaped well for our 5-mo-old to hold. The regular neck bottles DO fit my Medela pump, although not super securely, and the big kicker is, there are NO STORAGE LIDS for the bottles. So if you want to pump and serve right away, no problem, or if you don't mind storing the bottles with nipples and caps, that's a possibility. It seems that it would be easy to include disks to close the nipple rings and make solid lids like so many other companies do. Luckily, the disks from my Lansinoh bottles fit and now I'm able to close up at least a couple of the bottles.
ALSO, the nipples themselves are not labeled with the level of flow, no 1-2-3 or S-M-F. There are some numbers printed, but they are random and don't correspond to the flow at all, for example the 3-6 month nipples were labeled 1, 5, and 8. Weird. You can sort of figure it out by looking at the size of the hole, but that doesn't work for my mother-in-law whose eyes are not good enough to make it out. And we can't stick to just one level at a time because we use one size for breastmilk and one for breastmilk with rice cereal.
Anyways, pretty decent bottles, but still a bit frustrating.

nothing much more to say - these came highly recommended by a mom friend, so I purchased them from Amazon as they weren't available at my local retailers. Haven't had a chance to use them yet as the baby hasn't arrived, but I'm sure they'll be everything my girlfriend said they would be.
