3WAY smaller than described, and box doesn't say "phthalate free"  Jan 06, 2012
By ss624
I love green sprouts, for the fact that they're BPA, phthalate (usually) and PVC free. However, I bought these because it says the dimensions are 8" x 5" x 3", and it says that they are free of BPA, phthalate and PVC. Ok, so they're not even close to the size advertised; they're about 2" diameter at the bottom, and 3" dia at the top. Also, the box doesn't say "phthalate free", only "BPA, and PVC free". The company selling this on Amazon slapped a UPC sticker on that says it's free of all three, but I don't buy that being that it's not coming directly from the manufacturer. I was going to keep these until my baby got a little older and could snack more, until I saw that. I still love green sprouts products, but this seller did not advertise correctly.

5Perfect for small hands  Mar 24, 2012
By RGB
I read the reviews that said these cups are small, but I was still surprised when they arrived. However, you can really pack a lot in them. I easily fit half an apple chopped in small pieces, plus it's great for portion control when I'm filling it with processed snacks that I don't want my daughter eating lots of. She (1 yr old) loves holding the cup and playing with it and its lid, which can also serve as a little plate for the snacks inside. I thought that there was a little dispenser opening in the lid, but it's actually just the design of the lid to make it easy to open. Not a huge deal, since it keeps things very airtight, but you do have to take the whole lid off to get food out so spills happen easily.

5Best snack cups I've tried!  Feb 11, 2011
By Robin Kuppusamy "Love to Shop"
Let me start off by saying these are small. I was nervous buying them because of that fact. But, it turned out to be PERFECT for my 16 month old. He can hold the cup by himself with very minimal spillage. The size is just right for portions as well. A lot of the time he doesn't even finish the cup off. I didn't think about getting these for lunches, but now that someone mentioned it I think I'm going to have to pick up more.

I accidentally found these at the grocery store. They were $3 . 50 less than what Amazon is offering them for. So, shop around, put on your wish list or watch it on kidcrawl.com before ordering. That way you can get the best price.

5A Must Have Item  Feb 14, 2012

I love these & consider them a staple. I use them primarily for baby food and find them to be the perfect size. The lids snap shut securely yet open w/o trouble. I use the Beaba multi-portion storage for freezing my homemade food, and those frozen "cubes" can then fit perfectly in these containers to thaw and bring to daycare! Also, these are a great size to bring in the diaper bag (I put a little cereal in them just in case I need some food while out for my daughter) and are wide enough you can feed right from them as a dish. Plus, it's important to me that they are PVC & BPA free. I have several and love them.

4small cups, good for baby food  Jan 31, 2012
By Carissa K. Dougherty
We bought these cups when our daughter started eating baby food and we needed a way to store/travel with her food (we mostly made our own rather than use store-bought jars). They hold maybe 3-4 ounces, which is good at first but these would probably not work for an older baby/toddler. Ours came with two different shades of green, rather than pink and green as shown (which was totally fine with me). The lids stay on tightly and don't leak, even when turned on their side. If you are looking for small containers, these are very good.
