Fell apart before baby even used it Dec 02, 2009

I decided to wash this rattle by hand before giving it to my daughter. I think it said it was safe to go in the washing machine so I assumed that by washing it by hand it wouldn't fall apart. Well it did. The side of the carrot split open revealing the fluffing inside, and one of the lines across the carrot unravelled. Very poorly made!!!
