We just finished putting together our Graco Stanton crib and are very impressed with the quality, especially for the low price. The cherry finish is very nice - almost no flaws and a nice rich color, not too red. It took two of us one hour to put together and the instructions were very clear. I'm especially impressed by how sturdy it is. We looked at some $500+ cribs that seemed rather flimsy. The front bar keeps this crib nice and stable.
I had my eye on the Baby Europa Geneva crib - also by LaJobi, who makes the Graco brand - and was sad to find that it was discontinued, but this one appears to be a new product with very similar styling. Coincidence or re-branding? Either way, the styling of this crib is very nice. It is lacking a few of the nice details on the Geneva, but has new details of it's own. And it costs even less!
Overall, it looks like it costs a LOT more than it did. I would recommend it to anyone.

Sturdy. Affordable. Fast Shipping May 12, 2011

This is a great crib if you're looking for one. We had a baby bargains book that went through and rated cribs by brand and model and the Graco brand got great reviews. They sold it apparently at Wal Mart and so we were a little skeptical at first because we want the best for our baby without breaking the bank but Wal Mart? We went to Wal Mart but it wasn't fully set up for display. We went ahead with it because of the price and good reviews that it received. Anyway I put it together by myself pretty easily. It is very very sturdy. You can tighten the bolts up extremely tight and it's like a rock. Seriously. And it looks very nice. We are very very happy with the deal that we got. I would definitely recommended it to you.

This crib is beautiful and sturdy. The classic cherry is a very nice shade with no red tone (like cherry can be). I would describe it as a light espresso. I was surprised how low to the ground it is, but it has been 8 years since I've had a crib in my home and guess that is how they are made now. Also, it was very easy to assemble (I could do it 7 months pregnant with the help of my 8 year old son).
The one issue I had which kept this from being a 5 star was when I tried to put on a crib skirt. There is a wooden bar across the front which interrupts the way the side parts of the crib skirt fall. Also, the metal that attaches the mattress support doesn't allow the crib skirt to fall to the front either. It's difficult to explain unless you have it assembled and see for yourself. If you can figure out how to work around this (I'm cutting slits in my crib skirt on the sides and attaching the front with velcro) or not use a skirt at all, then it works.

We spent countless hours researching cribs. After deciding we weren't spending 500-600 bucks on this one piece of furniture, the Stanton in Espresso seemed to be the best choice. Now we did not have it shipped, instead we picked it up at our local Walmart for $150. My husband had it assembled in 40 min and we love it. It's sturdy, the espresso color is gorgeous and I feel it's a great crib for a decent price. Buy this crib.

Not only is this crib a fair price, it looks amazing. And it is very sturdy. After reading tons of reviews I finally decided to purchase this item and as I went to buy it in the store, I even had another customer with a 1 year old stop me and tell me how much she loved this crib too. It holds up well, it's durable, and looks like you paid a lot more money for it than you did. Awesome item.
