Brentwood - Such a DEAL!! couldn't be happier! Feb 19, 2009
By usmcwife
"MOMof2girls1boy"
I was a bit skeptical at first, not even sure why, but now that's it's here I could NOT be happier. First off I ordered the Brentwood pattern.
COLOR: It is a great pattern without be too bright and babyish. With colors of soft mint green, pale blue, cream, browns and tans, It will easily work for boy or girl. The soft mat for the bottom and the side rails are done in the plaid pattern, the bumper sides for the bassinet is the soft green with very small cream dots (not the large ugly polka dots). The frame is a chocolate brown, not faded like the picture shows.
SETUP: The whole thing took about 25 mins. 5 mins to remove everything from the box and lay out the pieces. 5 mins to pop the playpen into place. 5 more mins to put the bassinet together and get it popped into place with the matt. (VERY secure fit by the way) The changing table took about 8 mins to put together, but that's mainly because I was double checking the rods and then they were a bit stubborn locking into eachother. Still rather easy. Then 5 more mins to put the mobile together and give it a trial run.
MOBILE: cute teddy bears, clear soft music perfect for lullaby. Snaps securely onto the playpen, but the 'shaft' that goes up to hold the music box feels a bit flimsy. (not loose enough to make you think it will fall, but just not rock solid)
CHANGING TABLE: I'm sure with extended use this will eventually sag to the side, but it does have a weight limit, just abide by it. It seems pretty soft and cushioned and is vinyl for easy cleaning. But I will probably use a soft waterproof pad for baby's comfort
BASSINET: Seems VERY secure, the matt leaves NO room for baby to get between it and the walls. Has great support all around WITHOUT those uncomfy bars straight down the middle. BIG PLUS for keeping a baby comfortable and asleep.
PLAYPEN: The mat actually fits secure here too , and the corner of the mat has a place to sit UNDER in the corners, to make sure baby can't get caught between it and the walls.
You will NOT be disappointed with this product. Such a great price for a great brand. Good Luck!

Nice product for decent price Jul 13, 2007
By Jonathan A. Lentz We bought this pack n play after purchasing and returning an evenflo playard. We had one pack n play in the upstairs of our home from our first child and wanted a second one to have downstairs. The bassinet is quite sturdy, and all the pieces lock properly without to much effort. We didn't even need to use the instructions when setting it up. Plus it came with a mobile, a music station and a storage space for diapers and such. All in all a nice item, that can work for a girl or boy, definatley would recommend it!

Lacking in a Couple Areas Aug 31, 2009
By Ryan Seifert

This is a very versatile product. Once setup is complete, it folds up with one pull into a size small enough to fit into the supplied travel bag that in turn can be quickly thrown into a car trunk. Pretty sturdy design (not rickety/shaky). One drawback we've found so far is the basinette bottom (which is a wood or particle-board piece) slides to one side, causing an unlevel surface for changing. This is a minor irritation that could be solved by sewing a strip on one side so that the wood can't slide. The other drawback is that the supplied carousel is wind-up, but only lasts a short time so the parent ends up winding it every couple minutes. The last drawback is small, but the travel bag requires the folded-up playard to slide into the bag rather than zippered in (R&D oversight). Overall, good buy for the money, just needs a couple customer tweaks if you have OCD like we do!
BTW, we have the "Brentwood" design.

Gotta read the directions.. Great Product Jan 22, 2008
By J. Blake My wife and I purchased this for our first grandchild. I became extremely frustrated when I tried to put this togeather. The sides nor the ends would "click" togeather to stay up. Oooops... Once my wife rescued me and read the instruction book.. (which was included), it went up in a snap.. Awesome changing table, the bassinet is great. Wish they had things like this when we were raising our 4 children. Highly recommended.

Graco Bassinette Feb 13, 2008

I consider this playard a good buy. It was easy to set up, although the directions could be confusing, as they were written for several model options and could not necessarily be followed sequentially. However, once figured out, the playard was very easy to assemble and adapt to multiple uses. Caution, the width is larger than most of the door entrances in my house, so if moving from room-to-room it may be necessary to partially disassemble. The purchase and delivery system through Amazon was outstanding.
