Great stroller!! Apr 28, 2011
By proudmomma3 We love this stroller! My husband and I were shocked to find that it maneuvers with such ease. We can literally push it one-handed, and it turns so well. The great maneuverability could be because the stroller is so amazingly lightweight, which also had us shocked because is is a standard size stroller! Even my 5 year old and 3 year old are able to push this stroller around, in fact they fight over it! In reference to previous reviews regarding the recline strap, I really do not think that the recline strap is any reason to give it so few stars, because honestly the recline strap works just fine. We have no problems with this at all. Also, the stroller basket is quite roomy, in my opinion. I am able to fit my JJ Cole Tote in it, with more room to spare for blankets, toys and my other 2 childrens items. Another great feature is the folding ability, which my husband is mesmerized with. He loves the ease of folding it one-handed with just a push of the button and twisting. On top of that even, is the fact that it locks immediately after folding...which means less work when your hands are full with a squirming baby!! I love this stroller and will be posting pics!

Great Product Feb 15, 2011
By K. Dixon This was everything I was expecting it to be. We started using it at three months for our baby and she is very comfortable and safe in it. I love the five-point harness, the stroller was easy enough to assemble, and the wheels are easy to control. My only reservation is that I wish the seat would lie down flat for naps, but it's not terribly important and we love the stroller.

Not what I was hoping for... Apr 20, 2011
By CarseatCrazyMom I purchased a full size stroller because there were certain features I was looking for and I guess I did not pay enough attention when I bought this.
First major deal breaker - the canopy does not rotate down so when you are walking with the sun pointed at your baby the only thing you can do is hang a blanket off of it to shield the sun.
Second major deal breaker - the seat does not recline all the way. And furthermore the mechanics for reclining are ridiculous. its a strap with a little clip on it. you just pull the strap to sit the seat up and release the clip to put it down - sooooo cheesy!
It just wasn't what I was looking for... it was nice, it did have cup holders, bigger wheels, a nice basket, 5 pt harness, one hand fold and it stood up on its own folded and you could put any SnugRide on it but I needed those two features as mentioned above so I bought a Graco Quattro Sport which has everything I could ever want in a stroller (but its bigger and heavier -- take the good with the bad).
Hope this helps :)

Graco Alano Stroller, Ally Jan 15, 2011
By Twetti Overall a pretty good, functional stroller but one of the main things I was looking for was being able to lay the baby flat down for sleeping, which this stroller doesn't do. The factory description mentioned "multiple recline" which it really isn't. It's just a clumsy cord one has to pull to lower down, not a smart solution. The lowest the back goes down is to about 35 degrees. The 5-point seat belt is good to have, but again clumsy to lock as 3 parts have to be buckled together into one at the same time. Good luck doing that while wrestling with a wiggly baby. I've seen much easier solutions. Other than that it's perfectly fine and has good storage underneath.

Perfect Stroller! May 07, 2010
By mikenat2009 I'm very happy with this stroller! I purchased a Graco Metrolite 5 years ago for my first child. I had it in my mind that I needed a lightweight/compact stroller that acted like a full size but wasn't an umbrella like stroller and wasn't big and bulky like the Quattro Tour. It served me well but I was always frustrated with the underneath basket. It was hard to access when the infant seat was attached or reclined and it didn't hold much. I had to use a "stroller diaper bag" to hang on the handle bar because my diaper bag didn't fit and I never had room for shopping bags. I decided with my second child I would get a bigger stroller. I found the Alano and it is perfect for what I need. The basket is very roomy and I don't have to use a stroller bag. I can use my regular diaper bag and it fits perfectly. The basket is very easy to access even in the reclined position. It is as tall as a Quattro Tour (which is great because I'm tall) but not as wide and long. The two things I wished it had are the fully reclined seat (although my kids rarely sleep in the stroller) and the adjusting canopy. That is a very nice feature of the Quattro Tour but if this stroller had those features, there would be no need for the Quattro Tour and for Graco to charge more $$$ right?! This stroller has the lightweight compactness of the Metrolite and the storage and height of the Quattro Tour without spending a ton of money. An extra bonus was the super cute pink and gray pattern. With having a girl for the first time, I can't get enough pink!
