great for 3 year olds + Feb 02, 2012
By Carol Jean Castro I bought these for my kids when they were about 15 mo old and hated them because they would spill its contents, and now that they are 3 & 4 they work great! There arent any extra pieces to look for or clean.
cute cup/poor design Jan 31, 2012
By forevrbrit We had been using the expensive cups with the valves, but honestly wondered how on earth baby's are supposed to get the drink out. The valves make it so difficult for them! However, I read an amazon review that said the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry states that sippy cups with valves should not be used under any circumstances - only cups without valves. I checked their web site and sure enough there it was. I immediately ordered these cups and some munchkin disposable cups at the same time. Our daughter transitioned reasonably quickly. Yes, there was some spilt liquid and and it took time for her to figure out how to deal with the liquid flowing faster than the other type (with valves), even when she wasn't sucking, but we were determined to keep using them due to the A.A.P.D. recommendations. We stopped using these particular cups after a few months as the lids do not stay on properly. My daughter can get the lid off without much effort and if she throws it on the floor the lid will pop right off. At first, we thought it was user error, but finally realized it just was not a very good product. Even if the lid does not come off, the beverage still leaks out. The munchkin cups on the other hand are wonderful. They screw on a lot more tightly and we have not had any of the same problems as we did with these cups. Do yourself a favor and buy the other brand. I'm getting ready to order more right now and figured I'd do a quick review at the same time.
Not spill proof. Misleading Nov 15, 2011
By mickmak Bought these recently and water comes sailing out if you tip them over. I called the company to complain, and they said they didn't claim it was spill proof, only spill resistant. Very disappointed and will be returning these. My two year old will have water all over the place otherwise.
Very cute but not too spill proof Nov 12, 2011
By Twinmom I bought these for my twins first birthday jungle party. They were perfect favors for the theme. I am a little disappointed that the lids are not very secure. Otherwise, a good item for the price.
The Best Tossable Sippy Cup Aug 02, 2011
By Rave and Rant I love these sippy cups. Their only downfall is that you have to make sure the lid is on correctly. I have purchased five packs of these, and they are inexpensive enough that they can be left in a grandparents cupboard. They go through the dishwasher quite nicely on the top rack. They are very sturdy and the best tossable cup I have found.
