Not perfect, but the best we've found so far Nov 01, 2010
By maxGamer This is our ONLY sippy cup now. We've bought every sippy cup listed under the Amazon search for "sippy cup" (as of right now 10/2010) and this one is the best one so far. Four kids later and all the techno-doo-dads and whoosie whatsis gimicks you add to these still fail to make them leak-proof.
Pros: 1. It screws down easily so you don't spend 5 crying minutes trying to get the cup ready for them. 2. It is see-through so you can see when they're running low. 3. It has easy-to-grip handles for their little hands. 4. It has a nice rubber spout that doesn't seem to chew through as easily as others when teething starts. 5. It comes apart so you can stick the little drip stopper in the silverware area of the dishwasher and put the other parts with the glasses. Easy cleanup without moldy leftovers! 6. It doesn't hold a spaghetti stain like some rubber tops. (this is with the yellow color, comes out after 2 washes) 7. It is stable and has a wide mouth so you don't accidentally knock it over with the milk jug while filling it up. (Why do some companies insist on making a long, tall, topheavy sippy cup?) 7. It doesn't mar the wall when tossed angrily from a plate of peas. 8. It doesn't leak IF it lands on it's side. Upside down is another story.
With all that good stuff you'd think they could make it so that the liquid that gets left in the nipple is sucked back into the cup when the baby is finished, but no. It stays there and about four good drops WILL fall out if you tip it upside down. If you shake it while upside down, it drips each shake due to the pressure of the liquid on the little stopper.
All in all we've been pleased with these cups, but for the life of me I wish they'd come up with a way to get rid of the drips.

Good sippy but hard to clean Apr 04, 2011
By F. Zhang This is my son's first sippy cup. I like the soft spout and easy handles. But the spout is very difficult to clean. I cleaned it right after my son's each drinking, but still there are dark spots which are impossible to clean. I used dish detergent, baking soda, and even bleach! And they are still there. It's may be due to my problem not using the brush every time, but just a reminder for who are interested: You need to separate the spout and clean it with brush thoroughly every time!
Another problem, there is always leftover (about 1 oz) which is hard or my son to finish it. He has no problem with other sippy cups.

best sippy cup tried, used for over 2 years May 27, 2011

Love this sippy cup, and so has my son - for over two years now! The spout is softer, which is great, it DOESN'T LEAK, which is the best, and easy to see when the liquid has run out. I've tried countless sippy cups over the past few years, and, this is by far the winner. My son has always liked this one the best, and the same for us. We have about 5 of them. One of them we keep filled with water in his bed at night, and, we've never had a leak. I've read that a few people complain about cleaning them, or keeping them clean, but, it's really simple - I make sure to wash his (even the one that only has water in it) at least once a week in the dishwasher. If you get one of those snap lid baskets they sell for kids stuff in the dishwasher, that's the best. I take apart the cup, put the white filter thing and top in the basket, then the cup in the dishwasher like any other cup, and it gets completely clean. Here's the other key - like any other sippy cup or bottle, don't put it back together after cleaning until it is 100% dry - that prevents any mold/bacteria from building.
