I unwisely purchased this 6-pack of 16-ounce boxes when I first introduced solids into my baby's diet. It turned out that rice cereal (typically recommended as the first solid food to start with) causes severe constipation in my daughter. So, after 2 weeks, I had to switch to oatmeal cereal (also, the Gerber brand), which was instantly a great hit with my baby!
So, I recommend that you first buy one box, if you are only just beginning to introduce solids, to see if rice cereal is the right first solid food for your baby.

I am sure it works just fine for many babies; and I have no complaints whatsoever with regards to how quickly the product arrived or the condition it arrived in (very nicely packaged).

love having a supply of this with an infant, my only complaint is the price has gone up and down, sometimes it is cheaper to buy in store, sometimes it is cheaper to buy off amazon.com/mom through subscribe and save.

Gluten and milk free baby cereal Feb 25, 2011

Product was delivered ok and on time. I was looking for gluten and milk free baby cereal for my daughter who is alergic. Cereal box doesn't mention anywhere if it is free of gluten or milk (that was a problem). Anyways we tried it and went ok.

I bought this in late December and amazon sent me boxes with expiry date of late September, so only 9 months.
6 boxes of 16oz is way too much if you have only one baby who just starts eating solids. My baby's speed now is only one 16oz box/2 month and he's a good eater. For now I only give him oatmeal cereal besides rice, later i want to introduce mixed grain and wheat, I just don't want these goes bad and waste it away.
