Best diaper system ever! Aug 18, 2010
By Heidi L. Schmidt
"love and peace, heidi"
I had been hesitant to use cloth diapers, despite wanting to be more health and ecology minded, but the fuzzibunz have been a godsend. They are so easy, I can take them to daycare (one bag for soiled, one bag of pre-loaded clean) and there is never a fuss. The diapers are easy to clean, wonderfully adjustable, and a dream to use. I used a dozen (washed daily) of them on two boys, newborn to potty trained at three, and then handed them down to friends who used them extensively and passed them along as well. I saved money and felt wonderful about my choices and good about what was next to my baby's skin. We never had problems with diaper rash, and I'm getting ready to order another set of twelve. Friends of mine were spending the price of a twelve pack every week on diapers, and I was at home reading, knitting or sleeping, listening to the washer hum. I hung them on a bamboo drying rack overnight, and in the morning they were all ready to go.

Great Cloth option Dec 01, 2010
By T. Mitchell I tried Gdiapers before I got these because I like the biodegradable option. However, I always had trouble with leaking, with the biodegradable and cloth option, even though the fit was right. When my 3-month old grew out of her small gpants I decided to look at other options instead of getting a new size in Gdiapers. I like the one-size because they can be used for much longer. They are a decent investment up-front, so I didn't want her to grow out of them in a few months! We got our package within the week and all the colors were nice. If I needed more I might buy a few "girly" ones, but otherwise, they are perfectly nice, gender-neutral colors.
I have loved these diapers. We use them daily. I own 14 and wash them every other day. We do use disposables at night, though, because she is a heavy wetter and I feel safer that she won't be soaked in her sleep. These are generally easy to use and are a great cloth option. Don't be scared of doing cloth if you use these - they really are so much better than our mother's cloth diapers!

Colors may vary from images shown Oct 05, 2010
By ATP I ordered these diapers through Amazon from Dainty Baby and was surprised when the colors in the package were very different from those shown. There are no blues included in the gender neutral package for example, and I received many brown and white diapers which aren't shown here. I contacted Dainty Baby, who had great customer service and they agree right away to let me exchange some of the colors. They say they'll try to have the listing revised but currently don't have full control over which images are shown by Amazon. Again, Dainty Baby were wonderful to deal with, but I wanted to mention it in case it happens to others.

We love fuzzi bunz one size, prefer to Happy Heinys and Bum Genius Mar 31, 2011
By Elizabeth We tried fuzzi bunz one size diapers, kissaluvs fitted diapers, fuzzi bunz xs, small, and medium perfect size diapers, bum genius all-in-one one size organic snap diapers, the bum genius 3.0 one size pocket diaper with velcro, and happy heinys one size with snaps and the fuzzi bunz one size was our favorite.
The Pros: -First, obviously, we like it because we don't have to buy a whole new set of diapers for each size. Our son has worn these since he was a few weeks old and is still wearing them at two years. The adjustable elastic is very convenient and only has to be adjusted every once in a while and it doesn't bunch up like the bum genius that only has three different levels. The notches in the elastic make the fit much more customized for the baby. We didn't find it to be difficult or a hassle. At two years we had to replace the elastic, but that was nothing compared to buying all new diapers! -We much prefer the snaps to the velcro on the bum genius because you always know where to snap the diaper so that it isn't too tight or too loose. -We prefer the pocket to the all in one because it seems like they get more clean this way (you can separate them for the wash), you can adjust the absorbency based on size and time (night or day), and they dry faster this way which is especially important if you are line drying. That said, we also prefer the pocket diapers to the fitteds with a cover - more convenient and it feels less bulky to us. -These fit much better at each stage that the perfect size diapers. I know the perfect size fits some little ones well, but not our guy. It worked better that this went below his belly button rather than over it.
The Cons: -We generally like these, but the later versions (we have some of the first ones and some later versions) have one less snap. Even on the loosest setting it can sometimes be a tad tight on our boy (at age 2 years). It fits, but one more snap and one more notch on the elastic would have helped. -We have had some problems with leaking. I've taken to stripping them more regularly, and I'm sure this would be the case with most cloth diapers, but it is sort of a hassle. -It would be nice if there were more designs for the one-size. Currently only solids. We got some of the daisies when they were out, but a few more designs would be nice. -The white ones end up looking a little discolored, so I would go with a colored one. -The earlier versions had smaller holes for the elastic and the ends didn't slip out. The later versions had bigger holes and sometimes the end of the elastic slips out which can be annoying and leave little marks on his legs.
All of that said, we have 24 of these one sizes and like them better than any of the others we've tried. For our next baby, we'll use only these.

Terrible!! Jun 12, 2011
By A.Renee These diapers worked great when my daughter was a new born. Then, they started leaking like crazy overnight when she started sleeping longer (about 8 hours)! Even with two inserts stuffed in them, which are then super bulkey, which makes me worry about hip issues because she can't even close her legs properly. So, I emailed Fuzzibunz, and they sent me a totally new load- which now leak even worse, even during the day. The issue is, they changed the manufacturing of their fleece on the inside of the diaper. It doesn't wisk liquid away from the baby, the liquid sits on the diaper, and leaks out the sides/back. These are terrible. The company must not have done much testing on their new fleece. The old Fuzzibunz were ALRIGHT, but again... Still leaking issues. We were using a very gentile eco-friendly detergent and following all of their laundering suggestions. We recently went out and bought two different cloth diapers, which work MUCH better- NO LEAKS!! The one she slept in last night was Happy Hineys. She slept for 8 hours straight in this diaper and didn't leak at all! I was thrilled not to have to change all of her bedding and clothes at 3:30 in the morning for the first time in months! It was great. Then we had her in Bumgenis, which she slept in from 4-8 with no leaks... I highly recommend trying these before you decide to waste your money on leaky diapers. These are the worst!
