Good bottles Jun 24, 2011
By Bonnie Dugas I switched to these bottles once my son reached 6 months. I use to use the platex bag style. I switched because I was sick of shelling out extra money for the bags. Now my son is done with the gassy stage and doesnt need the extra help in that department. These bottles are nothing fancy just your regular bottle. They work well with no leaking. I wash them in the dishwasher and they hold up great. we have been using them for about a month.

Light... and it works May 22, 2011

Alot of moms told me to get Born Free Bottles or Doctor BRown bottles but honestly these bottles work great! I only subtract a star for the crappy nipples that comes with them, but other than that my son likes these bottles because he can easily hold on to them. Other bottles seem so bulky and fat. You can use the Evenflo nipples or Doctor brown nipples on these bottles and its great. :) Cant complain much for the price.

Great bottles, not so great tops May 22, 2011

The extra oz is ideal when you are mixing a 8 oz bottle of formula. This prevents overflow due to the additional formula mix that's added. The tops have many air holes in a circular pattern which we found leaked more than helped. We purchased other tops (NUK) for the bottles. Can't beat the price though.

Great bottle - back to basics! Mar 27, 2011

We love these bottles! After trying many (including far more expensive) bottles with our son we learned about the Gerber First Essentials bottles. They came highly recommended and haven't disappointed. They are simple to use, easy to clean and the price is certainly right. We used the Born Free bottles and have noticed less leaking with the Gerber bottles, not to mention there are fewer parts to wash (and lose!). Give these a try - and if they've not for you you're certainly not out a bunch of hard earned cash.

good inexpensive bottles Dec 20, 2010

Good bottles, don't leak and are inexpensive. We switched to these after our son was 6 months from using Dr. Browns to avoid cleaning the extra parts. I will use Dr. Browns for a younger child, but once they are older these are good.
