Really nice nursing accessory Jun 11, 2009
By AW A friend gave me a set of these bottles after her son had found the silicone covers distracting while feeding. We haven't had any problems like that, but making pastel covers available would be nice.
I use the bottles themselves for storing breast milk, and stretch the covers over glass Dr Brown's bottles. That combination makes it fairly obvious which bottles are my son's, and the covers make the bottles comfortable to hold, too. I've noticed that the glass in this set of bottles feels a bit coarser than older Evenflo bottles I have, but they're still usable. The price is very reasonable, too.

No problems, No BPAs Apr 18, 2009

As a first time parent, it seemed glass carried with it an inherent danger. Dumb. These have been dropped several times with no chipping or cracking, seemingly owing to the protective rubber sleeve. And no BPAs to worry about.

Awesome option for using glass May 25, 2009
By Lisa Rose I have used these bottles for several months with my son. I love having BPA free materials and they wash up very easily, including in the dishwasher. (Plastic bottles run through my dishwasher ended up smelling like soap, but not these.) The sleeves make them more comfortable to hold and I haven't had any bottles break if dropped or bumped. They are easy to take on and off as long as they are not too cold. I think the best feature of this design, as compared to other sleeves, is that it allows you to see the ounce markings on the bottle to see how much the baby drank. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that one sleeve developed a tear in the first month and then broke within a week after that. The rest are all fine so far, after about 3 months of use.

Out of the 6 that I bought, all but one of them have had the rubber protector tear off.

good bottles Jan 11, 2012
By Lita Counts I really like these bottles. We received them at our baby shower and it took me awhile to use them because I thought they were old fashioned. But after I opened them I discovered they are really nice. They come with slow flow nipples so I had to purchase medium flow nipples seperately. They are easy to clean. They can be a pain to hold when its 2 in the morning and both you and the baby don't feel like holding such a heavy bottle, but as baby gets older that shouldn't be a issue anymore. I find that the rubber grip helps baby to hold the bottle better on his own.
