No hole in some nipples Sep 19, 2011
By Kristopher A Barnthouse I purchased 8oz Evenflo glass bottles that came with these slow-flow nipples, and out of 9 nipples, 2 of them had no hole. My baby was sucking, and getting nothing from the bottle, until I realized what was happening and switched nipples. Of the other 7 nipples that have holes, the flow seems to be inconsistent. I probably should have written this review under the bottles, but here I am buying replacement nipples so here is where I am posting my review. After all this, these still get 4 stars, because they are so inexpensive, they are fine for the money. I thought about contacting Evenflo for replacement nipples for the ones that had no holes, but since they are so inexpensive, I decided it wasn't worth my time to do that. -Ruby Barnthouse

By EN Flow is still too fast for my new born baby (compare to Dr. Brown nipples).

Oh, did you mean FAST flow? Dec 09, 2011
By Matt S. Like a couple other reviewers have pointed out, these nipples don't really flow slowly. Our baby glugs down the contents of his bottle in what feels like under a minute, and then ends up spitting everything up. I also held 3 of the nipples under a trickle of water from the faucet to see what happens - not only do all of them leak out of the tip right away, they leak at different rates, so it doesn't seem like this company has very good quality control standards (one nipple had giant drops that came out maybe 2 per second, another had smaller drops that were about 4 per second). We are combining breastfeeding with bottle feeding and these nipples do not come close to emulating breastfeeding. We just ordered a Nuk and will see how that goes... will try and remember to update this.

Works great with Evenflo glass bottles and also fits Similac ready-to-feed 2 oz bottles Nov 16, 2011
By camestres My newborn has used these since birth. No problems. I use them with the Evenflo glass bottles, which I love - they attach to the Medela breast pump. These nipples come with the glass bottles. The nipples also work well with the Similac ready-to-feed 2 oz bottles.
Even though they are not "anatomic" or anything fancy, my baby has not had the "nipple confusion" we keep hearing about - he nurses just fine even though about half his feedings (since birth) are either pumped breast milk or formula using these nipples.
These nipples are also very easy to clean. For cleaning, I use the OXO Tot Bottle Brush with Nipple Cleaner - the nipple cleaner is not a brush (some people have found that nipple brushes poke through or damage some nipples) but a slender stick that cleans in all the nipple crevices - and it has worked well for me so I would recommend that too.
