I got this play yard as a gift and before i had my son i loved it but once he arrived i realized a few things that were kind of irritating about it first off the bassinet part does not lay completely flat it is kind of like a bowl he would always slide to the middle of it. The changing table part didnt last long once he started getting weight on him it would bend downward. the mobile is manual so you have to turn it by hand and it only goes for about 1 min. But as a play yard it was great I just wish they would have spent more time on the extras oh and on the picture here it looks like it has a skirt on the bottom mine did not have this.

Some wonderful features of this product: love the nightlight perfect for getting up in the middle of the night, multiple sounds, and the vibrating feature. Folds up nicely too. However, I definitely would not purchase this bassinet/playard again. The instuction manual states: "If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by the bassinet or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of the bassinet mattress." I called Eddie Bauer and djgusa (the manufacturer). They insisted no such sheet exists and that they actually recommend against using a sheet with their product. I have to agree with them - we all know the suffocation risk posed by an improperly fit sheet ... But what a poor design for a spitting up, diaper dirtying newborn. The mattress is not machine-washable but is highly absorbent. I was instructed to wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Obviously, this is insufficient to remove all the baby secretions and fluids coming in contact with the mattress daily. I intended to keep this product for future children, but now think the mattress will be too dirty. Since it can only be used for the first four months or so, this is a huge waste.
Also, do not buy the Eddie Bauer fitted playard sheet for this product. It is much oversized and does not shrink sufficiently to be even remotely safe for use with this mattress.

I put this together before our son was born, and was very impressed with the features, such as changing table and bassinet, and how everything folds up so neatly. I finally get to use this product now that my son is born, and am no longer as impressed. The changing table support pipes are not precision fit and allow the table to sag to one side. This is extremely frustrating as my baby always rolls to that side with his face smooshed against the side. I tapped some nails into the joints to firm them up, and have now noticed other joints causing the same effect. I am going to take this thing down to the basement and weld the pipes together... Not something I nor any average parent should have to do. I flaw like this and other reviews I've read make me wonder what else I may find down the road... For the price, I give it a fair rating due to it's potential usefulness as a portable play pen (Wheels are a nice touch). However, I think the manufacturer would be better off leaving out features completely if they aren't going to sufficiently engineered, as the flaw is an obvious design flaw and not a manufacturing issue. I'm probably not going to use the mobile, for reasons that a previous reviewer stated, as it's not worth the effort.

I love this pack n play, its adorable and meets all of our expectations.l my only gripe is the mobile. it needs to be manually turned and the bears do not circle around very long, maybe a minute or two! other than that, great produce, very happy with it.
