greasy & whitish, but no harmful chemicals- the tradeoff. Jul 16, 2011
By DANDT Well, I purchased this to try instead of my previous Badger; the ingredients are very close and both have 22% zinc oxide, higher than most other natural sunscreens. Eco doesnt ooze out as much of that initial spill of olive oil the way Badger does but it is still a greasy whitish formula (like Badger)...what zinc oxide formulas are always gonna be, I guess. I dont understand why these natural sunscreens claim to be non-greasy, when they certainly are, given they are formulated with so many oils... The Eco doesnt rub in very quickly, takes a while to absorb and dry down, and when it does, it leaves your skin looking dry (dehydrated) and like its been lightly dusted with flour. Does seem to prevent sunburn or tanning fairly well. I really havent found any of these natural sunscreens to be the holy grail, even after years of being on the market.

near empty bottle Apr 19, 2012
By ohio gardner Agree with A. Wagley in Indiana, except it looks like they've cut back the contents even more, from 3.5 to 1.8 oz. When I took it out of the box, I thought they accidentally sent me an empty tube. I found there was a little bit in the bottom. From the size of the 6" tube, you think you're getting several applications. This is not the case. Very expensive for a tiny amount.

Great ingredients Nov 23, 2011

I love this sunscreen, and the ingredients are fantastic! It is a bit greasy like the other reviewer said but it doesn't bother me. On me (skin type II), it rubs in very easily and clear. When it dries your skin has a powdery, silky feel to it.
I wear it on my body and décolletage area but not on my face. It does separate in the tube so you should knead it before use. If it's too much for the summer time, I'll just use the BODY version which is less oily.
Love This Sunscreen! Dec 28, 2011
By Daizy I use this sunscreen daily on my face. I like that it moisturizers as well as protects my skin from the sun. I prefer the baby sunscreen due to the extra creaminess - especially during the winter months. It absorbs into my skin nicely and does not look at all greasy. It actually leaves a nice matte finish to my skin perfect for a light powder foundation. I've experimented with lots of different daily facial sunscreens and this is my favorite. I also appreciate that it is a safe and natural product.

Little product in oversized container Feb 23, 2012
By A. Wagley I bought this item as a gift for my toddler niece, and she hasn't had a chance to use it yet. When the bottle arrived today, I was a little surprised by how compressed the container is, sort of like the bottle didn't get filled completely. Anyone else notice this? Perhaps all 3.5 ounces of the sunscreen is there, but if that's the case, the product could be in a smaller container using less plastic.
