Great Product Jan 30, 2010

I was worried about purchasing this because my daughters have so many stuffed animals, I wasn't sure they would all fit, and I was concerned they might be to heavy and weigh it down. The hammock works great! All the animals fit, and no problems with the weight. I also hung them low enough so that they can get them when they want, and put them away. I also like the chain...we didn't really need it for toys, so we are using it to display artwork from school!

Good product. Dec 02, 2010
By S. Hubble This hammock is a great solution for storing stuffed animals. My daughter's room looks a lot tidier with all of them in the corner, in one location. The net itself is well-made and doesn't sag too much. The only issue some might have is with the plastic wall anchors used to secure the hooks inside the wall if there isn't a stud (which is mostly the case since you're putting it in the corner). The anchors require drilling a 5/16" hole in your drywall (in my case, drywall on one side and wood paneling and drywall on the other). If you're prepared to put holes this large in your walls, then this should be a great product.
It might take a bit of elbow grease to push the anchors into the wall, as they have to fit tightly into the hole. They might have to be gently tapped in because if you hit them too hard the plastic can break off behind the wall if you're not careful. This is why metal anchors might be better, but then they would be more noticeable, too. Also, I saw a couple of reviews mentioned the size of the hooks that come with the hammock--just know that this net is designed to support up to 30 lbs. of stuffed toys, thus the large hooks. As another reviewer suggested, if you don't anticipate storing this much, you can always buy smaller ones at the hardware store.
Overall though, good quality for the price and it serves it purpose well.

Just what I was looking for Dec 18, 2009

We got one for each of our childs rooms. They are sturdy and hold a lot of animals. Anchors in the wall do leave a little larger hole than a nail would, but that was to be expected in order to support all the animals. We even have larger ones that are about 3 ft. tall. The hanging chain was a nice addition but I believe thier value is included in the price which made it a bit more than what the net alone would be. I don't mind though because I think they will be useful in our children's closets. No problems with the sell either, shipping was a breeze as usual with Amazon and it's affiliates.

Wonderful. Mar 23, 2011
By Noname I bought this Dream Baby toy hammock for my daughter's stuffed animal collection, which was taking over her room. It comes with the net, plastic chain, hooks, plastic clips and wall anchors.
I screwed the hooks straight into the drywall. I could have used the anchors, but that would entail a much bigger hole; and I couldn't remove it without creating an even bigger hole. I figured, they're stuffed animals. They can't really do much damage if they fall. If the hooks fall out, I'll consider using the anchors. So far, the net is filled to the brim with stuffed animals. I don't think I could pile it much higher. The hooks are still in the wall.
The plastic chain comes with a whole bunch of plastic clips, which could be used to hold smaller stuffed animals, hats, etc. We are using it to hold my daughter's ribbons.
My daughter is very happy to have the floor of her room back, and my son is asking for his own stuffed animal net. I'm happy enough with this purchase that I'm going back to buy more.

Roomy Apr 12, 2010
By Angela M. Burton This held more than I expected. I had the equivalent of a full lawn/leaf bag of tiny to XL stuffed animals. The hammock held (barely) all of them. I hope that gives you some idea of how big this is. The chain became nothing more than a pull toy so I had to improvise a way to keep that out of reach. You can just string it in front of the hammock by the hammock's hooks.
