 Fits Graco Pack N Play perfect!!! Apr 09, 2011

This mattress fits the Graco Pack N Play perfect, doesn't leave any gaps on the sides that could be dangerous for baby! We are having twins and are using the bassinet part of the pack and play for them to be in our room the first few months. I have read SO MANY reviews on mattresses for portable cribs and almost all of them said the mattress leaves a 1 inch gap on each side lengthwise and this mattress fits snug to every side, no gaps! It is also very firm but not hard enough to be uncomfortable! So happy with this purchase!

Needed this mattress for a family trip with my in-laws. My daughter has been sleeping great in her crib and I was worried about the hard foundation of her Graco Pack-n-Play. I was seriously considering modifying a foam "egg crate" mattress pad to fit in the bottom of her Pack-n-Play, when I came across this mattress made specifically for the Graco. We used it this past weekend and it was perfect!!! It fits perfectly inside the Graco Pack-n-Play, is plenty firm enough and my daughter slept comfortably on it for naps and overnight. She appeared to be equally as comfortable in it as she is at home in her crib. I will definitely be taking this to her grandparents, when they babysit - it is fantastic!!

This mattress has made nap time a success. My grandson could not fall asleep on the paknplay pad. The new mattress worked the 1 St and every time.

Like others, our baby would not sleep in the Graco Pack and Play (PNP). If swaddled we were lucky if he slept for 5 minutes. Our son will be at his grandparent's house when we are both at work. I didn't want to buy another crib and crib mattress because our friends let us borrow their PNP. We started looking for other alternatives and came across this mattress. Well it worked! He now naps in his PNP (phew!). We originally found the 24" on Amazon, but thanks to reviews we selected this 26" for a better fit. I'm not too sure why other reviewers say the mattress does not fit their PNP. If it's mesh all the way down on all four sides of course it will cause a gap where the mesh is. So I go by the four corners, and yes it fits. Some other reviewers were disappointed in the firmness. Please note this is not like a regular crib mattress. There are no springs. The feel is of a foam mattress. I feel it is firm enough and when our baby sleeps on it there is no indentation. I purchased a generic playard fitted sheet from Babys R Us and found it was too small and made the mattress bend in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned they purchased the American Baby Company Organic Interlock Pack N Play Sheet. I also purchased the sheet and it's super soft, but best of all it FITS this mattress. Make sure to keep the original PNP bottom in and place this mattress on top of it. Hope your baby likes it as much as ours!

I loved that this mattress adds padding to my daughters play yard as we use it as a bassinet. However, I was very concerned about the smell - I aired this mattress out for a few weeks before she arrived and I could still get a hint of the awful smell when I changed the sheets. I had to replace this item. I would think an item made for babies would be made of better quality.
