As advertised Dec 30, 2010
By Don Dr. Brown's are considered the best bottles by almost any pediatrician you'd ask. These are for 3-6 mo. My baby was 6wks premature but was able to start at 3 mo. of age (i.e. didn't wait til 3 mo. post due date). Little need to say more- if you're considering this item you probably have the bottles with #1 nipples. Feeding time reduced with increased flow!

Works great! Aug 02, 2010
By John J. Franco We bought these nipples for our daughter when she was about 5 months old. She has always used the Dr. Brown bottles. We started mixing a bit of rice cereal into her bottles and she couldn't get the thicker mixture through the level 1 nipples. So we switched to the next size on the advice of a friend and they work great. One warning, though... without the rice cereal she'll drink a 5-6 oz. bottle in 3 minutes which is a little too fast.
The level 1 nipples lasted over 3 months, and I expect these will prove just as durable. We wash them almost every day (in the handy Dr. Brown's bottle cages) and they hold up fine.

Epic Nipples Feb 04, 2011

We have several types of bottles, but I really only like using the Dr. Brown ones. Seem to work well for my son. The cleanup really isn't that bad. Someone gave it one star because they had to clean extra parts...boo hoo. I'd rather have my son using a quality product and sacrifice the extra 15 seconds it takes to clean up. That's my cross to bear I guess...lol. Plus I call them Doc Brown bottles and say "Great Scott!" a lot...so my love of Back to the Future could make me biased.

By Susan Excellent product... I liked it a lot, 100% recommended. My baby eats very well. Thanks for everything!. Soy de Venezuela
Impossible to differentiate between nipple sizes; leaky too... Apr 07, 2011
By Lulapucci I generally like Dr. Brown's bottles, although admittedly they do leak on a consistent basis. But by far the most frustrating aspect of these bottles are the impossible-to-read labels found on the underside of the nipple. My twins alternate between level 1 (for breastmilk), Level 2 (for formula), and the Y cut (for formula thickened with cereal). It is ridiculously difficult to read the transparent raised label on the underside of the nipple, especially when it is a bleary-eyed attempt in the middle of the night.
If I didn't get these for free from a friend, I never would have stuck with the brand.
