Better than our IQ Avent sterilizer Aug 14, 2011

I previously owned Avent bottles, and IQ sterilizer as well as the IQ warmer. When I returned the bottles for the Dr. Brown wide bottles, I purchased this sterilizer and it is the BEST ever. Has room for all the pieces as well as 6 wide neck bottles, sterilizes for 12 minutes and so care free. I de-mineralized it once a week. I got it at Babies R US for $79.99 with 20% off. Best Sterilizer ever. Even the Warmer cannot compare to the Avents. I love Dr. Brown, this is a great product and I am very happy with it. The bottles, and pieces and pacifiers are all sterilized and I have no worries at all.

This works great! I love that i can also sterilize my baby's pacifiers too. If you keep up with cleaning you won't have any problems. This is way less expensive at babies r us. They have this same sterilizer for $69 plus you can use the 20% off coupon.

Simple put a month and a half after everyday use and properly de-materialize it malfunctions. Specifically it shuts off after 1-3 minutes and refuses to turn on sometimes. What I do is hold the button down and its annoying to hold it for 12 minutes. I would not recommend this sterilizer.
