Works well for nighttime diapering Mar 04, 2011
By Monkey Momma If you have been wanting to try wool, this would be a great pull up cover to start out with since it tends to be lower cost than some of the other brands.
I have a LanaCare, Kissa's Wool Lovers and Aristocrats pull up covers. (I went WAY overboard buying cloth diapering supplies!) I also have 3 different machine washable wool wrap style covers, and that pull up wool covers are significantly softer than the wrap style ones. The disana if my #1 favorite for nighttime diapering. The only reason I don't love it as much for daytime is because it is bulkier than others.
It fits comfortably around my baby's waist and thighs and doesn't allow any moisture to seep through. It is very breathable and soft. My baby loves wearing it. The care of the wool isn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I can't get tight pj's over this cover, but it works great with a large t-shirt. I am definitely glad that I purchased this.

Favorite Overnight Cover Nov 12, 2011
By Glenys McMennamy I love the softness, stretchiness, and thickness of this cover for nighttime over a prefolds or a fitted. I have two other soakers (one labeled overnight which I find to not be very easy to pull over a large overnight diaper), and the Disana is the one I can't live without (and bought another!). If you are just trying wool for the first time, this is the best for night. I don't use it in the day other than for naps because I find it too bulky under little man clothes, but on a girl with a dress it might be fine. Finally, even though Disana markets this to fit 6-12 month olds, it fits our semi-chunky little guy at 3 months (with a big diaper under). He is 15 lbs and I think it will fit for a long while yet.

Ordered a second one! Mar 26, 2012
By mimi73 I was skeptical about the wool cover thing, but was desperate enough to try. We have a heavy wetter and even though we use cloth during the day we were using disposables at night. Even so, we were ending up with leaks every few nights, even after going up a size on the disposables. Now we use the Disana covers with a double prefold (green mountain prefolds) and we haven't had a leak in a couple of months! Lanolizing and caring for these covers is not as bad as I thought. You can google how to lanolize them and it's very simple steps. They do take a while to dry, so it is good to have two, at least. Wish I could afford more! I got one in natural and one in orange, and I love the orange one.

Disana Organic Merino Wool Cover-Orange-86/92 (12-24 mo) Dec 02, 2011
By S. Aguilar I ordered the 12-24mo size for my 4 month old based on weight recommendations on other cloth diapering sites. He is avg height but very chubby. The cover is a little big right now, but not TOO big and with plenty of room to grow. I am new to CDing, and like others have mentioned, was nervous to the idea of wool. These covers are absolutely wonderful, and their maintenance was much easier than I expected. I started with just one, but love these so much for nighttime and around the house that I have since ordered 2 more. Waiting for my 3rd pair to arrive :) I've never had a leak with these, which is wonderful since we co-sleep and have had several accidents while using disposables. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to try wool, and you really do have to try it to believe how amazing they are.

soft, squishy, no leaks. Nov 01, 2011
By H I ordered two of these Disana wool covers. I love how the legs go down a little bit- it's really good at stopping leaks. They are soft and squishy and I love that they come in different colors. You have to wash and lanolize them before use, but it's very easy (Little Spruce Organics has a youtube video that shows you very clearly how to do it) and I have no leaks overnight when used with a good fitted diaper. I ordered the size according to my baby's age and when they first arrived they seemed quite large, but they shrink down a bit after washing and are fine with room to grow (the wool is pretty stretchy). Very nice cover, would definitely recommend.
