Beautiful Chest, Questionable Quality Jan 01, 2010
By I research everything Great chest for small rooms as long as you also have a closet available. The drawers are small. After five months the bottom two drawers started coming off their tracks regularly and becoming difficult to close all the way. For the money, it is what it is. But it is beautiful and matches the other furniture in our small nursery. Not sure if I would get it again knowing it is perfect for our particular needs but will have drawer issues within the first six months. UPDATE: Here we are at seven months and the tracks the drawers slide in are also coming off. I definitely would not buy this again, it'll never last a year and the drawers are not at all safe for baby once she starts walking. Also, she's a mid-size now and this thing is WAY to small to hold her clothes in any kind of organized fashion.

Too small and not great quality Aug 12, 2011
By Monkeys Mommy We have had this dresser changer for almost 2 years and since day 1 I have wanted something else. The drawers are tiny, way too small to hold many clothes, the tracks on the drawers are flimsy and they don't slide well. The shelf inside the drawer is constantly falling to one side or the other. The wood is incredibly soft, my two year old can leave a nice scratch just by touching it. Its very small so if your nursery is small then maybe it would work if you don't have a lot of clothes and don't plan to use the drawers much but its just too small and too cheaply made for my liking. With baby #2 on the way, I'm purchasing something bigger and sturdier and of course more expensive. My Mom told me that I got what I paid for and she was right! Keep looking, this isn't the one!

Using as a nightstand/dresser Oct 15, 2011
By Sara I bought two of these to use as night stands and I love them. The quality is better than I expected - good quality wood and good finish on all of the parts you see from the front (back panel is composite and the drawer wood is unfinished and the bottoms are a bit flimsy, but still very functional and about what I would expect for this price). Other reviews mentioned that the drawers were small, and that it scratched easy - I thought the drawers were fine for what I wanted it for and I haven't had any scratching issues. As for other reviews about the drawers falling apart or not sliding right, see below.
I would have given this 5 stars if not for two things: 1: I had to exchange one because all three drawer bottoms were broke in half (looked like a shipping problem, but why is it packed with the flimsiest piece unprotected on the outer part of the box??) That was a hassle and made me nervous about the product, but Amazon was great and replaced it quickly and the two I ended up with had no scratches or problems. 2: The directions were not entirely right and there was some difficulty with building it. The pictures of the drawer slides were backwards/upside down for where they are actually supposed to go. If you've never built anything with drawer slides, that could be confusing (could also be why some say they have problems with their drawers??). The hardware itself is lightly stamped with "R" and "L" indicators, so if you buy one, use those as a guide instead of the paper printed instruction pictures. Also, the back panel did not simply screw in (the rest of the building was very simple and all the holes and screws matched up great) and I had to use a drill to pre-make the 12 or so holes to screw them into. All in all, not a big deal, but it did take longer to build them then I expected.
Overall, I would recommend it highly and I would buy more of them if I had a place for them. This is a great piece, especially for the price.

Mommy2be Nov 04, 2010
By mommy2be We received this about 2 months ago to go with our DaVinci Crib in Cherry. I noticed that it is a slightly lighter cherry color than the crib, and not manufactured by the same company. Even though it says Davinci, they were made by two different companies. I do love the size however, and it makes for a great changing table with a changing pad on it with room for a little basket of accessories. It's the perfect size for a smaller nursery. I did not give it 5 stars because as others have said, it is not easy to put together. The directions are quite confusing.

By kathy It was easy to put together and it does look Very nice. The size works for me because I am only using it to hold my office papers and such. I do think it would be too small if you were to try and hold baby clothes in the drawers. they should def. make it alittle more larger and sturdier for that.
