Very cute dresser but... Jun 26, 2009

Love the dresser, disappointed only because there was a small scratch on it when we got it. Nothing too noticable so we didn't try to return it or anything. Took awhile to put together, directions not very helpful. But I still give it 4 stars because now that it's put together and in the babys room, I like it a lot and would recommend it.

I loved the espresso color dresser. It has a great combination of style and simplicity along with roomy drawers. It matched perfectly with my existing baby crib from another manufacturer. Shipped in perfect condition!

Dresser is nice quality and matches the rest of the Emily set perfectly. Main issue is that directions are not clear on how to assemble the many pieces it comes in and it took 3 attempts before we were finally able to get it built. It does dent fairly easily so you have to be extra careful when putting it together.

This was purchased to go with the Emily crib in my granddaughter's nursery. Assembling it took some time, thankfully I wasn't putting it together by myself, had two other people helping. One reading the instructions and one other helping me put it together.
It's a lovely looking piece of furniture. Two negatives though, 1st it scratches very easily so having another pair of hands to stabilize it is helpful in preventing the pieces from rubbing together, scratching the surfaces that contact each other.
2nd the drawer sliders fit a bit loose causing some of the drawers to rub making a grinding sound when opening. Amazon had the best price for this piece of furniture,still,considering how much it cost, it should be of better quality with regards to opening and closing and the drawers should function more smoothly.

We ordered the DaVinci nursery set (crib, dresser, changer) in August. While we received two pieces the first week of Sept (crib, changer) the dresser was delayed until the first week of October. It was then delayed until the last week of October. Now that it's November we've finally received it and the piece is very banged up. There was a chunk missing out of the side, a scratch across two drawers and a chunk out of the top. I am in my third trimester now and my husband and I just want to be done so we're going to keep it. Would think very hard before buying from this line again.
