This is a nice mattress, however it is actually 15 x 31 1/2 instead of 15 x 33. When I put it in our cradle and saw that it was too short (you can see about an inch of the cradle bottom on both ends) I measured it with a tape measure. I tried to contact the company to see if this one was a mistake, I was told that they are standard size and asked "was I sure that it was too short?". Like they thought I couldn't see the bottom of the cradle and that I couldn't read a tape measure. I will still use the mattress but I have to put a rolled up cradle sheet at the end of it.

 Mattress an inch shorter than advertised May 10, 2008

We purchased this mattress to fit in our 15X33 cradle. The mattress arrived quickly but without any sanitary plastic wrapping. The mattress was an inch shorter than the advertised dimensions. The return process was not very difficult. We were asked to email aBaby and request permission to return the item, which they gave within a few days. After that we were asked to provide a tracking number before our refund could be processed. We found a 15X33 mattress easily from a local vendor that fit perfectly.

Just a thought to keep in mind for new parents...when looking at other reviews for cradle mattresses complaining it is 1 1/2 inches too short..I guess people do not take into account that if it WERE to fit exactly, when you add sheets and/or blankets they wouldn't be able to tuck under properly.

I was hesitant to order this product after reading a review stating the mattress was not true to size and the mattress was short. I was very pleased with this product. I needed a 15 x 33" mattress and that is what a received. The mattress is also a nice thickness. The mattress fit the cradle perfectly. I was not able to find the mattress I needed in the stores. I am glad I found this product on line.

Just what we wanted. It fit perfectly in the family cradle. We had been concerned we coud not use the cradle for the upcoming birth as we had not found a mattress for it. I am so glad we did as now the baby can sleep in the same cradle as daddy did.
