Great crib mattress Jan 14, 2010

This is a great mattress. Firm, yet comfortable. It is rather heavy (compared to a foam mattress). It is not waterproof in any way, but that has not caused us any problems so far (we have used it for almost 2 years now). We use a washable waterproof cover over the mattress. Would definitely buy it again, if needed. It appears to be made entirely of natural coir fiber, covered with a cotton batting (I don't think there are any chemical fire retardants added, which some say may contribute to SIDS).

Great Mattress, but VERY snug in crib Jan 12, 2012

This is a great mattress. The only problem for me is that it is VERY snug in the crib - it's almost too big to fit. I had to push down really hard to get the mattress to sit properly in the crib. While this might be great from a safety standpoint, it's going to be a huge pain every time I need to change the crib sheets. And with a 3 month old who has a leaky diaper every few days, I need to change the sheets a lot.
