Great replacement mattress for a Portable Crib! Apr 06, 2007

The original mattress that came with our portable crib was so thin. The corners would always bunch up and the sheets never stayed on the old mattress. The new mattress is much thicker but firm. Our baby is comfortable and we haven't had any problems with the sheets. Highly recommended!

I originally bought this as a more comfortable mattress for my now 14-month old daughter's portable crib when she was a newborn. I have a Graco pack-n-play that has a mattress that just seems really uncomfortable to sleep on, and although this mattress was smaller than the play-yard, I was able to get it to fit snugly by tightly rolling blankets into the gaps and covering everything with a large receiving blanket. Now that we don't use the pack-n-play much, we still use the portable mattress as a nap mat. We've also taken it camping and have used it as a sleeping pad for our daughter (and ourselves, sometimes). I plan to continue to use this mattress until she outgrows it.

Originally, I was concerned because others had problems with their mattresses fitting. But this one fits perfectly inside my pack n play portable crib. I'm very satisfied. Note: might want to buy a waterproof cover to go over it (I have no idea where to find one). If the baby pees while in the crib and the diaper leaks, the sheets don't provide much protection and the mattress can start to smell. Yuck. It doesn't help to wash it with soap and water either.

Perfectly fits my Delta Children's Portable Mini Crib, which comes with a very flimsy mattress. I love this mattress because it is thick enough to be comfortable, but not overly plush as to be a danger for SIDS. The portable crib sheets I have (Luvable friends) also fit perfectly on this mattress.
