I found this dresser very easy to put together. I was pleasantly surprised that EVERYTHING (all parts and hardware) were labeled correctly and NOTHING was missing (which seems to ALWAYS happen when I'm putting something together). The only thing that was incorrect was the manufacturer forgot to pre-drill 4 holes in the back so that the back could be attached, but we fixed that easily by predrilling our own using a 1/16" drill bit (just make sure you don't drill all the way through!). It looks very nice and chic when put together and, even though it's not the best construction (obviously the drawers aren't dovetail at this price), I expect it to last as long as I'll need it for (which is probably about 2 years before upgrading). All in all, good value for the price and directions are easy to follow.

This is the easiest piece of furniture I have assembled in my life. My husband and I put it together in about an hour and didn't run into any snags like we usually do with something not fitting or missing pieces etc. It feels sturdy and looks nice. I didn't give it 5 stars because we haven't used it yet, just put it together today.

I read numerous reviews before purchasing the SleepHaven set... and some warned that the dresser was flimsy and not constructed well. If you take your time and carefully follow instructions, it will take about 2 hours for one person (nice to have some extra hands when putting together, though). We added woodglue to every dowel connection and made sure to retighten every screw/minifix casing after assembly. I love that the drawers have a 'catch' to keep little fingers from getting smashed, and the color is just gorgeous.
Take your time assembling and you'll have a great piece of furniture!
