 Great shampoo/bodywash! Great bottle, and great scent! Apr 11, 2005

This is a wonderful shampoo and body wash for babies and children (or anyone!). The scent is soft and soothing of lavendar and chamomile. A bath with this followed by the matching lotion is a great help to the bedtime routine! Even the pump dispenser is a nice perk. Warning, once you try this on your child, you won't be able to go back. :)

I mainly like California baby stuff for what's NOT in their formula's. My kids are very sensitive to several ingredients which are found in almost all other lotions, sunscreens, shampoos, etc. The scent of this wash is definitely not typical, I didn't love it at first, but it has really grown on me. I do love it now and my kids smell so fresh. The price, to me, is worth it.

I love this product. What I think people don't understand is that you don't need "soap" to get clean. This product is made with Aloe vera, and gently cleans and refreshens your child, it's very mild. I have used this since my daughter was a newborn, and she never had cradle cap, or any skin problems.
I highly recommend it and the fragrance is amazing. So clean, and so natural.
My ONLY gripes are:
The packaging for this large size, why doesn't this company just make a refill pack to pour back into this bottle?
They don't sell it in Japan ^-^

This shampoo did not work well for my daughter's hair. It left her hair very dry. If you do use this as a shampoo, I would recommending using a heavy duty conditioner to follow.

This product gets 4 stars purely for the fact that it's awesome. I've used this for my son for the past 2 years. It's gentle and cleans well. Only problem I had (and this is totally my fault) is that I didn't read the actual fluid oz of this product. It looks much bigger in the pic and to be honest, is cheaper at Whole Foods/BRU for more oz. The bottle literally fits in the palm of my hand :-(
