4.5 oz / 135 ml bottle with locking pump. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states that if exposure to the sun is unavoidable and your baby is under 6 months, a non-chemical sunscreen (like ours) should be used; consult with your physician. The AAP recommends that because an infant's skin is very thin and sensitive, infants under 6 months should be kept out of the sun. Scented with a beautiful aromatherapy blend that includes lemongrass. Use on face (does not sting the eyes) and body. For year-round use. I love this sunscreen! I originally bought it for "normal/everyday" use on my son (I was planning on using a higher SPF on beach/park days) and found that I have become completely addicted to it. I have become more and more strict about the beauty products I use, since there are so many health and environmental concerns with so many of the "normal" additives in sunblocks, lotions, and other beauty products (for more info check [...]).

This lotion is amazing. It smells great. I was wearing it at a wedding recently and was constantly complemented on my "perfume". The very light and subtle scent of lemongrass and gardenia is not your typical sunscreen scent, but it is very light and refreshing. I use it on my face daily. To be true, it is a little on the heavy side for me (I would classify my skin as normal-oily), but I find that after an hour or so the "dewy-ness" has disappeared. I have heard it called greasy, but I have not had that experience. I have never noticed an oily or greasy look to my skin, it just feels REALLY well hydrated!

Unlike other natural sunscreens, it rubs in easily, and is absorbed quickly. I highly recommend this product for both baby and adult usage.

This product is the first california baby I have.It is very refreshing,not like other brands' sunscreen products which are very oily.When you apply it,make sure you rub it in for a while.Then it is abosorbed quickly into the skin and does not look oily and white any more.My son is very sensitive to sunshine and sunscreeen.I changed a lot of brands but no one was suitable for him.I feel so happy to find california baby.Make sure you always put the bottle upside up to get the lotion pumped out.I have used almost every bit of the whole bottle.I also buy him the body wash.I highly recommend this product.

I purchased the California Baby sunscreen because I did not want my daughter exposed to the harmful chemicals in "chemical" sunscreen! This sunscreen is wonderful. It has a very "light" lemon-lime scent to it and goes on really easily. It absorbs and is not greasy on the skin and washes off your hands easily with soap and water! My daughter is exposed to direct sunlight every day during her walks in the stroller and has never even gotten a little PINK! She has gotten a little "brown" on her knee's and legs where a golden tan is forming. I highly recommend this sunscreen. I only got the SPF 18 but have never had any issues. Because it comes in a pump form you can just reapply after an hour and I keep a hat on her.

This product does not pump out of the bottle, it leaves about 30% in the bottle. I called the manufacture and they WILL NOT stand behind the product, terrible company to deal with, very POOR customer service. I would not buy from a company that did not care if I had an issue or not, and at these prices they are crazy.
