Great commuter lunch bag! Jan 07, 2010
By Jessica Kane My husband used to bring his lunch to work in plastic grocery bags with old leaky ice packs in them. Not only was this wasteful because he'd have to throw the bag away after the ice pack leaked in it, but he'd threaten the lives of our glass food containers with every occasional drop of the bag, or accidental slam against a door frame. Now he takes his lunch in this Tasty Tote, and even without an ice pack it stays cold for the two hours or so between our fridge at home and the fridge at work. The amount of insulation fits his daily need, and also provides some cushioning for bumps incurred on the commuter bus! When we take this Tote on car trips, we slip an ice pack in there and our snacks stay cool for several hours! I love that we can just wash this tote if anything should ever leak, and it seems to be built very sturdily. I'm not suspicious of it breaking anytime soon. Regarding the style, my husband is the type of manly man where anything TOO stylish is not his style. But this simple, sleek, well-built design is appealing to him, and I personally like that he looks much more professional carrying this into work than plastic grocery sacks. :-)

Wonderful shape, but the neoprene tore after one week! Mar 29, 2010
By R. Liceaga I received this item fast from amazon, and I used it right away.
It fits a lot of items in it, thanks to its shape an wide opening. I can fit two to three small containers in it, a piece of fruit, bread, and even have room to put in hand sanitizer, gum, and napkins & utensils. If you take a sandwich, you will be able to fit that plus chips, fruit, a salad and all of your utensils and any extra snacks for throughout the day. It is stretchy and easy to stuff, however you do not want to put too many heavy things in it because the neoprene is thin.
I had a problem with my lunch bag as I noticed it had a small tear on the bottom after a week of using it! I think it either was caught on a rough surface, or one of my bags of chips created a tear in the fabric. I sewed it up right away, but I was mad that it tore so soon. I also noticed that it was starting to stretch on the bottom as well where it could tear in the future. Be careful of how you pack everything in the bag, because any corners sticking out will stretch the fabric and cause it to tear over time. The neoprene fabric could be thicker than it currently is. That is why i am giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because of this problem.
Other than the problem mentioned above, I absolutely love this lunch bag and I get compliments on it all the time from other people. It also will fold nicely to hide in your backpack, bag, or a shelf when it is empty. It fits what I usually take for lunch instead of taking my lunch in plastic grocery bags, which do get cumbersome and are not the most attractive to carry. I would recommend this to anyone who takes containers or a lot of snacks for throughout the day.

Love it! Jun 05, 2010

I ordered the purple with dots, and it's excellent! It's a great size, and has a little stretch in case you're worried about cramming stuff in there. A larger size would have been too big for daily lunch use. It does have a funny smell, but unlike other stinky things, it isn't really bad, and didn't affect the taste of my food. (I'm very sensitive to stinky stuff; it gives me headaches, and this didn't. It's a foot away from me right now and I can't smell it at all.) I love its washableness and the chunky zipper. Now I want a black one too!

Great little lunch tote Sep 17, 2009

This is a great lunch tote for my child. Although it's terrific that it conforms to many sizes of containers, do realize that the sandwich in the baggy is going to be in there unprotected. There is no structure to the bag so other "squishables" or delicates are going to get smashed, which leaves you to almost always having to put things into containers, hence the 1 * deduction; although, reusable containers does make it greener...OK, 4-1/2.

Perfect! Mar 03, 2011
By Manoj Jiwatramani This lunch bag is exactly what I was looking for. I did not want to carry my lunch box to work in a plastic bag or just without any bag.
The color and design is very smart. The material used for it is stretchable and thus it can fit a round or rectangular lunch box. And with that you can also throw in another container for dessert, a fruit and small bottle of yakult/juice. Also, the zipper opens up the bag well enough, enabling me to put all the eatables in and remove them out easily from the bag.
I believe that the lunch bag helps in retaining the food temperature. It certainly helps me to keep all the eatables together and avoid my lunch box from dropping/bumping and breaking.
I give it a 100% positive feedback.
