I absolutely adore this stroller.
I can EASILY steer it with one hand while my other hand carries shopping bags. It is a godsend in the malls, as it is so easy to maneuver around clothing racks and down aisles. The adjustable handlebar is a necessity, and we have no problem wheeling it on the beach through the sand. The icing on the cake is that it is also very lightweight.
We are using the bassinet feature for our newborn right now, but tried the seat with a friend's 2 year old, and both are awesome and easy to use. It takes some getting used to in order to assemble it and break it down, but with practice it becomes second nature. I get more compliments on this stroller than the three others that I had tried before this.
It is also really cool that you can change out the fabric to different colors. I bought the dark grey base so that it will look good with any color fabric that I choose (although I initially bought the red).

Worth every penny! May 31, 2006

Like most people, I saw the price tag of the Bugaboo and pretty much wrote it off. Instead, I went with the Peg Perego Venezia and its much lower price tag. After a few trips around my neighborhood, I realized that it just was NOT working out. So, we went and bought our Bugaboo with the dark grey base and the hot pink fabric on top.
Yeah, it's a cute stroller, but even more impressive is its maneuverability and toughness. This stroller can take a LOT of abuse, let me tell you! It's a powerhouse! I can take it out on all kind of terrain, and my daughter rides in comfort.
The bassinet was nice, but now we've moved on to the big baby seat, which is comfy and secure. I love that I can face her towards or away from me, depending on where the sun is and where she wants to be.
I do wish the canopy was able to stretch out a bit longer, as it's sometimes not enough to shield her from the intense Colorado sun. But, I am looking into buying one of the parasols available from Bugaboo, along with a bottle holder, which is sorely lacking on the standard Bugaboo.
You get decent stowing space at the bottom and the handlebars are adjustable, which is a very nice touch.
I LOVE this stroller! The Venezia? It's in the garage and up for sale.

This is an amazing stroller- well made, very stable, light weight and versatile. The only problem we had is that our child didn't like it! She's 16 months now and we've had it since she was three months. We thought she just wasn't a "stroller" baby until we saw how happy she was in a cheap umbrella stoller that our healthclub daycare put her in for fun. So the cameleon is in the garage and we use our Maclellan volo as our fulltime stroller- it's much easier to use and certainly more portable. She's happy and Mom and Dad are happy, not having to hold her AND push an empty (but beautiful) stroller.
