Works Perfectly with the Medela Pump! Nov 05, 2008
By Pamela Hoyem Since I am storing my milk in the Born Free bottles, this is a bit of a time saver for me. I was pumping into the smaller bottles that originally came with the Medela Pump in Style, then transfering the milk into the Born Free bottles which was wasting precious milk as well. The adaptors are pretty straight forward to use. Although they are also a little awkward to use, I am not used to how tall the adaptor makes the bottle so I am kind of twisting my upper body sideways because the bottles cannot rest on my legs like the smaller bottles could. This doesn't bother me so much because I have a nice comfy spot to pump at while at work. I don't know how much trouble it would be for someone pumping on a smaller chair? Overall, it works. It saves time and a little dish washing if you feed the baby straight from the bottle. I highly recommend it if you are using the Born Free bottles. Remember you will have to purchase two if you are dual pumping. I got them for $6.99 each + shipping directly from Born Free. The adaptor currently listed on amazon is going for twice the price. I called Born Free before placing the order and they said the adaptors should become available in stores like Babies R Us sometime in November 2008, but I didn't want to wait.

Works great with born free glass bottles! Sep 10, 2011
By Aussie Dabbler There are some reviews out there on other sites stating that these dont work on the BF glass bottles. That's not true! They fit and work perfectly. This is a great product. If you pump frequently like I did and had to do it at work and home all the time, this really does save time!! And easy to clean. It does feel heavy pumping right into glass bottles, but you get the hang of it.
Very convenient. Dec 10, 2011
By Natasha Allison I find it helpful to be able to pump directly into the bottle when I'm at work. I don't make enough milk to pump into two bottles simultaneously but I pump into one and the other I use a regular container that came with the pump and combine the milk with the side I pumped right into the bottle. This means I have one less container to clean after I'm done pumping.
Less bottles to wash. Love it! Sep 04, 2011
By moonpie For about 8 months, I had NO idea this product was out there so I was pumping into a Medela bottle first and then transferring the milk over to a Born Free bottle for my son. Then I randomly came across this item, I wish I had looked for it sooner! I was able to pump directly into a Born Free bottle and store, rather than having to wash Medela bottle AND a Born Free bottle. This part is also very easy to wash, especially while pumping at work. The only issue I have is that it's not small (length of my pinkie), so when I used the 8oz bottle, it can get long and sit right on my leg when I'm sitting down. As long as you can position things so it won't get in the way, it shouldn't be a problem.
Less bottle washing Jun 26, 2010
By ctmom I pump just so Dad can feed the baby once a day. This makes it easy to pump right into the bottle that my son will be fed from, rather than pumping into the smaller bottles, pouring it into the born free and then having more to wash.
