Large holes appear inside diaper after a year of use Apr 27, 2012

At first these seem like the perfect diaper. Organic - one size for the entire time the child needs diapers - and with the snap-in liner perfect for cleanup. All in all, this is true.
We have 21 pairs of this brand of diaper, and use them almost exclusively for our child. After one year of use significant holes began to appear above the top row of buttons along the waistline of the diapers. It should be noted that we always unsnap the insert from the diaper prior to washing, and have been using a recommended detergent using recommended washing instructions. We have a front-loading Miele washer and dryer.
These holes will require us to either darn them - or give up on this brand all together. Sadly I think the damage will require us to do the latter.
We've attempted to contact the manufacturer - multiple times - and have not heard a reply. Needless to say, we do not have good things to say about their customer service.
You may have better luck than we did - but I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for organic cloth diapers.
