Nice Bottles Nov 03, 2009
By K. McCauley I purchased this set, since my husband was against using plastic. My son is only 3 months old, and we have only used breast milk to feed him. He has had no problem transitioning from breast to bottle and back. They are nice to help feed him pumped milk when breast feeding isn't convenient.

Interchangeable Parts w/ Dr. Brown's Wide Necks Jan 26, 2012
By Maine Mom Considering the investment, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my current wide necks Dr. Brown's nipples, collars, valves AND travel covers all fit these glass bottles as well. So I didn't have to buy any additional level nipples (that don't come with the set). I can mix and match. As far as leaks go, not a one, with either top attached. Two of the 5 oz. glass bottles also fit in my Medela cooler bag (laying down on top of the cold pack) which is why I purchased them in the first place. I didn't want to send my pumped milk to daycare to be heated up in plastic anymore. Hope this helps make the decision a little easier.

Plastic valve breaks and leaves plastic inside the glass bottle Dec 27, 2010
By T. Kinney

I have been using these bottles for 6 weeks now. My husband noticed that inside the glass ring is plastic. We realized the plastic valve was breaking and adhering to the inside the of the glass bottle. This concerns me because I am afraid that the baby will ingest the broken plastic. Otherwise the bottles have been great :( Unfortunately I can no longer use them and I am not sure if I can return them because I no longer have the original box.

Excellent Choice Aug 11, 2010
By Mom of 2 in TN As with any new mom, I did a lot of research on everything I purchased - EVERYTHING! I decided to go with Born Free glass bottles. I am so glad I did. They are worth every penny! She has been on these bottles ever sense day one and hasnt had a problem one with spitting up. I can vouch that everything this company claims is the truth. I had friends and family try other bottles on their babies and they always complain about their bottles and wonder why my daughter seems to do so well (no fussiness what-so-ever). I buy nothing but Born Free products and my baby is one very happy and satisfied soul!

Excellent bottles Jun 12, 2010
By Charise Cole I cannot say enough about these bottles. We tried several glass bottles, including Dr. Brown's and Evenflo, before landing on Born Free. The latter two leaked and my husband and I would often find ourselves mopping up milk stains anywhere we fed our son. Additionally, the Born Free Bottle parts are easy to disassemble and clean. Dr. Brown's bottles are VERY tough to clean even with the mini brush they give for cleaning the venting tubes. The one thing we are most impressed with are the accessories that are available with the Born Free bottles. We added training handles, a sippy spout, and a silky slipper cover and our baby's bottle is a sippy cup. Even though it is pricey, when you consider that we can rearrange the parts of the bottle to become the sippy cups, we would have spent the same amount of money, and in my opinion the Born Free Bottles are a superior quality to the rest. You can't take a Toyota and say it's the same quality as a BMW...it just isn't. :)
