Great bottles Aug 19, 2010
By JB I have been very happy with these bottles so far. They do not leak at all. Also, my baby is breastfed and has no problem with any nipple confusion with these bottles. They also feel sturdy and well-made in your hand.
Awesome! Mar 13, 2012
By Christy I first found these bottles for my nephew who had feeding problems. These were the only bottles that helped with his reflux, so when I found out I was expecting I couldn't wait to grab these up. I am going to nurse and the shape and feel of the nipple really helps cutting out any nipple confusion. I was very disapointed however when I had opened them and they weren't the glass bottles. I am sure it stated on the site that they weren't and the important thing is that they are BPA free BUT was a little sad none the less.

By J. Cho i used this gift set for my daughter (who was breastfed and switched to bottle part-time after 6 months) for well over a year, having the option of using the sippy-cup nipple replacement after she turned 1. when my son was born, we bought 2 more bottles and that was it! my son is now 1.5 years old and the bottles are in amazing shape - these are workhorses. however, BE CAREFUL when washing the silicon piece inside the bottle (the piece that attaches to the plastic "ring") - if you tear the tiny slit while trying to wash the inside, your bottles can leak. most of you shouldn't have this problem - it only started after (adding up the use) about 1.5 years of use through 2 kids - i'm sure i should have replaced them earlier, but really, they were fine until i noticed the leaking about 6 months after kid #2 had been using them full-time. it never happened the year we used it with the firstborn. if/when we have a third, all we need to do is buy new nipples and new silicon rings for the inside and we'll be good to go!

Born Free is no longer the only player in BPA-free bottles Oct 21, 2009
By K. Lam For our first kid back in mid 2007, we succumbed to the BPA paranoia and dumped our beloved Avent (Polycarbonate) bottles for these expensive Born Free BPA-free Polyether Sulphone bottles. And they have served us faithfully for two years (our 2 year old is still using them). But I curse every time I have to wash the bottles, with their two extra complicated parts (compared to the Avent bottles). In Sept 2009, we had our second child, and we went back to Avent. Since every other maker of bottles has a line of BPA-free bottles, we no longer have to accept such a complicated bottle with so many extra parts. So this time around, we went straight back to Avent's new Polypropylene (PPE) BPA-free bottles. No more Born Free for us! (But becareful with Avent...don't buy the honey-colored PES BPA-free bottles, which come in the yellow-color box. These PES bottles leak! Buy the PPE Avent BPA-free bottles, which are cloudy in appearance and come in the blue-colored box).
