Want to rate higher, but I can't. May 07, 2012
By tellyouwhat We really wanted to stick with organic fabrics for our new baby and registered for these as receiving blankets. They are adorable for certain. My main problem is that they really aren't that soft. The new baby's skin is so sensitive and I sometimes have a hard time picking these out of the pile because they are more rigid. I do like that they are organic and maybe with some more washings they will loosen up, but for now I'm not sure I would pick these specific blankets out again to register for.

nice but not the nicest~ Feb 11, 2011
By A Matter of When These blankets are very thin (which is something I was looking for) with print on one side of the material. They are soft but not the softest organic swaddling blankets I've used (under the nile is much softer, for example). They're pretty big and functional. I would recommend them~
Cute, but too expensive May 07, 2012

These were on a registry for a baby shower, so I felt ok splurging on them. The patterns are very cute, but for myself, not a gift, I would not have spent this much on them.
Cute print, but didn't wash as well as I'd like Jul 16, 2011
By Marie Scotts I fell in love with this print, and had I not purchased a mini-crib would probably have gotten more bedding pieces from this line. Since they don't make mini-crib bedding in this line I registered for, and received, these blankets. I washed them for the first time today and am disappointed. The fabric held up well, and they are still soft, but they shrunk unevenly. It's a minor thing really, and I still love them. But looking at my stack of receiving blankets, these look untidy when stacked with the ones I have from Carter's and Tiddliwinks. Again, it's a minor issue and I'll definitely use these blankets, and baby probably won't notice, but I expected a little better quality considering the price.
