Just set up the base and the open cabinet combo. Easy to set up and the quality of this product is on par with or superior to the Pottery Barn furniture. I wouldn't be surprised if this was made in the same factory as the PB equivalents. For half the price (even with the PB set on sale), this is a fantastic deal!
I would highly recommend this product for anyone currently looking at the Pottery Barn furniture as a MUCH cheaper alternative.

I have had this item set up with the cubby unit and door unit for about 9 months. The quality has been fantastic and it is a perfect storage unit for our three year old. The great thing is that this product is almost exactly like the system in Pottery Barn Kids, but at a fraction of the price. I would highly recommend this product.

The quality is fine- not great but what you'd expect and the assembly is pretty straight forward. My issue with this piece is that I bought it for a closet. My goal for this small closet was to increase its efficiency. This drawer unit did not help to further that goal. The drawer itself is much smaller than the entire unit. There is wasted space in the back because the drawer is not as deep as the unit (5 in or so) and lots of wasted space below the drawer. I'm quite disapointed with how little this is going to store for the amount of space it is taking up. However, if that's not a concern for you, you may be happy with this product.

This drawer and the matching cubbies and cupboard are made from cheap particle board with veneer that cracks easily when assembling. The only solid wood is the thins piece of trim along the top and the knobs. It very pretty when assembled, but I don't know how long it will last in a boy's room. Very disappointed.

I was ready to buy the drawer and cubby set from Pottery Barn Kids and then came across this for 1/2 the price and I am so glad I did. It is a dark espresso (darker than the photo which is what I had hoped for so it would match my crib and dresser. My only issues are that it was a pain for my husband to assemble and the drawer is not very deep but for the price it is great.
