Good piece of the set Feb 21, 2011
By Mitch A Just got everything assembled including 2 of these. Fit & finish is OK. Door panels are reversible so one side is cork the other blackboard (green). Fit is good, hinges are decent & adjustable. Easy to assemble. 6 hours to assemble 9 pieces & get it secured together & to the wall. Looks fine. We'll see how it stands up to 2 boys.

AWESOME! Jan 19, 2012
By sweekes I have had this item set up with the cubby unit and base unit for about 9 months. The quality has been fantastic and it is a perfect storage unit for our three year old. The great thing is that this product is almost exactly like the system in Pottery Barn Kids, but at a fraction of the price. I would highly recommend this product.

Deceptive description Jan 19, 2012
By Dina Wilder This is junk. The description says New Zealand pine, but the pine must have been swept up from the floor and pressed together. Not worth the effort to put it together for the price. I would have been better off going to Ikea. I would send it back if it didn't cost so much to ship. I feel cheated.
Good for price Jan 16, 2012
By CKnowles This piece, as well as the set look great for the price--look very similar to it's higher end, outrageously priced competitor. However, just a couple things. This was designed to be purchased in pairs. The backerboard for this piece, as well as the rest of the set has a finished edge on one side only. I bought this to go against an inclined stairwell wall, so I have this as one piece on top. I think some furniture repair markers will fix this, but I feel like this is a big oversight on a piece of furniture that is meant to be modular.
ABSOLUTELY NO SOLID WOOD Jan 10, 2012
By swhite This cupboard and the matching cubbies and drawer are made from cheap particle board with veneer that cracks easily when assembling. The only solid wood is the thins piece of trim along the top. It very pretty when assembled, but I don't know how long it will last in a boy's room Disappointed.
